一．从试题的命题来看：
这套试题能够按照新课程标准的要求，吸收新课程改革的理念和精神，命题注重知识的综合，强调考查学生对整体的把握能力。整份试卷没有繁、难、偏、怪的试题，与教学内容相一致，与学生的学情相吻合，但是完形填空有点难。
听力部分考查了学生的理解日常英语的能力，相当部分题目难以直接从录音对话中找到答案，学生必须通过思考，从词语释义、句意理解或段意理解等不同方式悟出正确的选择，内容难度不大，而且语速不快，但部分学生本来基础知识欠熟练，而且没有掌握好答题技巧，也就是说没能按老师平时的要求，在听录音前，做到反复看透听力的题目，所以答题反应慢而失分，说明学生的听力理解能力还待提高。
单项选择，所测试的内容是基础知识和基本语法。考查学生在句子层次中对语法、词汇和习惯用语的掌握情况。覆盖面比较广，涉及到交际英语、引导词 、疑问词、动词搭配 、词语辨析 、动词时态、从句、介词、副词、语序等多种语法现象。
“完形填空”题着重考查考生在阅读理解的基础上对英语语言知识的综合运用能力。完形填空选项的设计仍以实词为主，虚词为辅。完形填空的设题立足全篇短文而不是某个句子，但考生在判断选项时，往往忽略文义的整体性与连惯性，因此所选择的答案往往只符合局部意义，而与全文的意义相悖。
阅读理解。该部分旨在检测考生的阅读速度和对语篇的领悟能力，侧重提高阅读能力也是中学英语教学的主要目的。本次阅读理解部分仍然是重点考查考生输入信息的速度和对书面语篇的整体理解能力。从多个层面（整体、细节、具体、抽象、字面、深层、推理等）考查了学生对不同短文的理解情况。侧重考查分析、推断和综合理解的能力。
书面表达。以if....为话题，考查考生根据实际生活的体验运用英语进行有效书面表达的能力。因为整个第五单元就是在讨论。所以绝大多数学生作文得分较高，句子较为通顺。
二．从学生的答题情况来分析：
通过对试卷整体的分析，反映了学生在学习中，基本上能领会课堂的要点要求，一些知识点在堂上反复出现的，掌握得较牢固，但是运用这些知识去解决实际问题的能力较差，这与课后的练习有关，说明了部分学生对课后的练习作业不够重视、缺乏主动性，而且，解题的依赖性强，缺乏独立的思考能力，另外，对于一些相关的语法知识和句子的构成，学生的遗忘率也很高。从作文的大体情况来看，学生的中文式英语很普遍，不会正确判断和选择恰当的时态进行书面表达，单词错误率较高。
三、今后的教学措施
1.针对日常教学重难点以及存在的疑难问题，自己出题进行针对性的训 练。教师应多思考，多研究，分析教材的重难点、找出学生出错的根源，并把各种错误进行汇总，变换方式训练，达到举一反三的目的。我们应通过造句、看图写话、设置情景等方式不断强化，再通过选择填空、句型转换、词形转换等题型进行训练，达到灵活运用的目的。
2.由浅入深，层层推进。对于学生难以理解的，先分类进行讲解、训练，待学生掌握后，再进行综合讲解、训练。这种有计划、分步骤、分层次的练习使学生的思路清晰，有利于弥补以前所学知识的欠缺。。
3、 加强阅读教学
要有意识地加强学生阅读能力的训练与培养，要多选用内容健康，知识性、趣味性较强的短文，要教会学生略读和扫读等方法，通过大量阅读来培养学生的语感以及通过上下文捕捉信息的能力，拓宽学生的知识面，开阔学生的视野。
4、在教学中还应注意英语习惯的表达法及其思维训练，特别注意习语和固定短语，并使其学以致用，培养学生遣词造句的能力。
