英语经验交流会总结材料

英语是当今世界上主要的国际通用语言这一,也是世界上最广泛使用的语言。据19xx年的统计,世界上以英语为母语的人近4亿,差不多每十个人中就有一个人讲英语。英国、美国、加拿大、澳大利亚、新西兰等国家的人都讲英语。世界上约有20国家把英语作为官方语言或第二语言使用,共计约有8亿人。也就是说,世界上差不多每五个人中有一个人至少在一定程度上懂英语。若加了世界各国中小学生学习英语的人数,懂英语的人就更多了。英语的使用范围也非常广泛。世界上70%以上的邮件是用英文写或用英文写地址的。全世界的广播节目中,有60%是用英语进行的。国际上的资料绝大部分是用英语发表的。绝大部分的国际会议是以英语为第一通用语言,它也是联合国的正式工作语言之一。总之,在国际政治、军事、经济、科技、文化、贸易、交通运输等领域,英语是一个重要的交际工具。随着我国对外开放的不断扩大化,科学技术的不断进步,国际地位的不断提高,迫切需要造就一大批精通外语的专门人才,以加速我国“四化”进程,使我国在国际事务中发挥更大更积极的作用。

因此,我们学好英语对实现上述目标是具有重大的现实意义和深远的历史意义的。 根据学院关于创建文明学风建设的精神,我院积极准备了一系列活动,并于五月中旬召开了本次英语经验交流会。

活动基本情况:

(1)、时间:20xx年5月16日16:30-18:00

(2)、地点:湖南理工学院南院7T1

(3)、面对对象:新闻学院08级全体学生及09级少部分学生

(4)、主讲人员:新闻学院辅导员老师钟玲玲

(5)。主要内容:关于大学英语四级考试的冲刺备战、关于英语学习经验的交流、关于四级考试的技巧要点讲解

活动成效: 为了总结此次活动成果,分析活动中存在的不足,以便进一步完善,我们及时对活动效果、活动意义进行了总结,主席团中肯的发言、批评,并分工合作将活动写成文字总结以便支部存档和上报组织。

活动自我评估

总体来说,我们这次学风建设之英语经验交流会的活动,各个阶段的准备都比较成功,成功的原因我们总结为以下几点:

1、 密切配合

多方面的积极协助和努力,是活动得以完成的保证。如在活动中我们得到了辅导员老师的支持与参与,并且调动起全院08、09同学参与进来,宣传后,也得到其他年级的同学的支持与积极参与。

2、 分工具体安排合理

在活动没有开始之前,负责人就已经将材料、任务合理分配,同时也注意到宣传组织及工作时间的协调。事后,同学们普遍反映良好。

3、 活动影响范围大

我们除了在08级内做好本次活动,同时将其扩展到全院。

4、 活动全面深入

从初期活动内容的确定到联系相关部门,宣传组织同学进行分工,一直到工作的全面开展及高质量的完成,后期总结讨论,充分做到了理论联系实际,并且升华了理论,提高了同学们的思想认识。

在成功的背后,我们也认真反省思考了我们的不足。

1、 经验交流会讲义材料准备不充足。活动虽然经过具体分工,详实安排,但在实际过程中由于通知不到位,导致信息交流有点混乱,个别班级没有准备讲义材料。

2、 安排上存在不足。主要体现在活动中个别成员不够积极,对分配的任务不能及时保证质量的完成,这与管理和分工上的失误有一定关系。

3、 宣传力度不够大。

活动经费结算(共计90元)

1、 计划书、总结书等打印费 10元。

2、 讲义材料打印80元(由各班班费筹集)

3、 申请教室押金100院(可返还)

活动结果及意义

1、活动虽然小,却含义深远,反响良好,充分发动了大家对英语的认识,并提高了大家对四级考试来临的紧迫感。

2、这次活动我们以最小的费用高质量的完成了最有意义的一次动员兼知识交流的活动。

One: Ability Improving

Listening: 1) listening practice

1. 原文词语/ 提前看选择

2. 根据常识排除选项

3. 绝对化排除

有绝对意义的词汇,如must, always, all, will 的选项,一般为错误选项。选项中含有相对意义的词汇,如can, may, sometimes, some, not always, 一般为正确答案。也就是说,越是模棱两可,含含糊糊,越可能是正确答案,因为它适用的范围更广。
