The symbolism in heart of darkness
Abstract: heart of darkness has been lauded as the greatest short novel ever written ,and rightly so.in fewer than one hundred pages,Joseph conard manages to diliver a compelling tale of adventure,a shocking exploration of the workings of the human mind ,and a blistering indicatment of European exploitation of African people and resourses – all in language so carefully,evocatively crafted that readers can almost feel that they are in the middle of the African jungle.In the novel ,symbolism is the main wrting style. Konard have used a large number of symbolism to unveil the deeper meaning of the theme.

Heart of Darkness:The novel have told the experence of capital Marlowe who was employeed by a belgium trading company.His task was to enter the interir Africa to save the very ill trading station agent Kurt.The so-called trade company is nothing but wanting to conquer the African land on the name of trade.The story of marlowe start with his signment of the contract to go to Congo,and the climax of the story is Marlowe’s meet with Kurts.With marlowe’s further in,another hero – kurts slowly came into our vision.Although in the jungle,marlowe have understood what is wildness and what is horror,this afeard degree is far beneath from which Kurts brings . In Marlowe’s heart,Kurts is somehow a threat for he is come here to replace.the further he went,the more he feel about that .the more he know things about Kurts,the more apparent his uneasy is .
