My dream ,Chinese dream

Good evening, ladies and gentlemen.My name is He Yunqi, you can call me Jennifer. I’m34 classes. First let me introduce myself first. I am a sunshine to the girl. I like to dance, because I think, this is a kind of health and beauty of the sport. I’m glad to stand here speech today. The title of my speech today is “Chinese dream”.

Everyone has a dream, like a star, like the moon, hanging in the motherland in the deep blue sky. The farmer uncle said: I have no dream, hope my crops harvest every year! The workers said: I, no dream, hope to have a good job, can earn money. . The policeman said: my dream, hope everyone in peace. Students dream, is admitted to a good university, find a good job in the future.

文明与我同行

亲爱的同学们：

大家好！

如果你失去了今天，你不算失败，因为明天会再来。

如果你失去了金钱，你不算失败，因为人生的价值不在钱袋。

如果你失去了文明，你是彻彻底底的失败，因为你已经失去了做人的真谛。

一个社会的公共文明水平，可以折射出一个社会一个国家的文明程度，一个人如果不遵守社会文明，小的会影响自身形象，大的会影响国家声誉。在清朝的时候，大臣李鸿章出使俄国，在一公开场合，恶习发作，随地吐了一口痰，被外国记者大加渲染、嘲弄，丢尽了中国人的脸。这是一个不遵守社会文明的历史教训。

我们不必埋怨这个社会的文明水平不高；不必怨艾自己的力量太单薄，对社会的影响不大。试想一下，面包里的酵母不是很少吗？可是，单凭这一点酵母，不是就把面包发起来了么。我们每一位同学都应该做这个时代的酵母，让自己的酵素，在这个社会起到应有的作用。

同学们，让我们行动起来，“新世纪新时代，新国家新文明”，不要让文明下，不要让文明只在纸上出现，要让它活跃在我们当中，让文明无所不在，让我们做文明的主人，让“文明与我同行”！

10 Tips for Successful Public Speaking

Know the room. Be familiar with the place in which you will speak.① Arrive early, walk around the speaking area and practise using the microphone and any visual aids.

Know the audience. Greet some of the audience as they arrive. It’s easier to speak to a group of friends than to a group of strangers. Know your material. If you’re not familiar with your material or are uncomfortable with it, your nervousness will increase. Practise your speech and revise it if necessary. Relax. Ease tension by doing exercises. Visualize yourself giving your speech. Imagine yourself speaking, your voice loud, clear, and assured. When you visualize yourself as successful, you will be successful. Realize that people want you to succeed. Audiences want you to be interesting, stimulating, informative, and entertaining. They don’t want you to fail. Don’t apologize. If you mention your nervousness or apologize for any problems you think you have with your speech, you may be calling the audience’s attention to something they hadn’t noticed. Keep silent.②

一、活动名称： 英语演讲比赛

二、举办单位：中澳学院福克斯英语协会

三、参赛方式：专业组：每班推荐2～3位同学（共4个班）

非专业组：每班推荐2～3位同学（共9个班）

四、活动目的：为了激发我系学生英语学习的积极性和热情，提高英语口语水平和交际能力，增强自信。本次比赛在于选拔英语口语水平较好的同学，比赛的竞争性更能调动学生的潜力，形成积极向上的学习氛围。

五、活动意义：使所有成员在活动的参与中增进英语知识，活动的策划中增进能力，活动的组织中增进交流，使英语协会的活动更加贴近同学的生活与学习。

六、活动时间：专业组：10月31号下午 （外国文化中心） 下午15：00—17：00

非专业组：11月3号晚上（1501教室）

晚上6:30-8:30

所有参赛选手提前半小时到比赛现场抽签

七、活动地点：外国文化体验中心

八、活动人物:国商系全体大一，大二学生

九、活动内容：

本次演讲比赛的内容分为3个环节：自我介绍、演讲、评委老师提问。演讲的话题有5个， 选手可从5个话题中任选其一，准备3-5分钟的演讲内容，演讲时为脱稿。

1、英语演讲活动策划书

在21世纪的我们，学习英语已经是一门必修课了，如今为了加强学生的英语学习，英语氛围，形成一种英语无处不在的学习环境，同时也为了提高我院以其各个英语爱好者的综合能力，丰富学习课余文化活动，创建良好的校园文化氛围，因此，我们英语1+1 决定开展英语角活动,邀请我校广大英语爱好者一起学英语

二．活动目的：

〈1〉提高同学学习英语的积极性，特别是提高对英语口语训练的积极性。

〈2〉丰富学生的课余生活。

〈3〉为学生提供一个学习和交流英语学习的平台，共同进步。

活动宗旨
