2、新知呈现：
（1）、图片引导：Last class, we know, danny is making a card for his favourite teacher. Look at the picture. Guess, what's danny doing?

(2)、第二遍听录音回答问题：
本课课文与第一课课文对比导入：Miss zhang is making a card too. What's the card for? It's for Miss Wang.

领读单词：his， was，then，little, thin.
（3）、让学生画出was并下面打上三角表示重点。让学生通过语境理解was的用法。
（4）第三遍听录音，跟读模仿，注意语音语调。

3、机械操练：
（1）、教师讲解was和then的用法，让学生知道was表达的是过去的时态。

教师做示范：以Miss liu 做示范，发现她前后的不同。

引导学生发现人物前后的不同，利用was， then进行描述。

让学生准备自己小时候的照片。分别用不同的时态来描述自己现在和过去的样子。

描述过去的样子可以用was.....then.句型。
8、教学反思：在以前的学习中，学生对现在时态描述任务已经很熟悉了。刚刚学习到was过去时态。掌握程度还算可以。但是还是有点对单数复数不是很了解。下次加强单复数和过去时态的共同应用。
