Step1: Warming up

2 Sing a song “What’s in the classroom?”

3 Ask and answer

Step2: Presentation and practice:

1 T Show a picture of “a swing”, teach “swing”

Ss read and spell the word together.

2 T show a picture of “a slide”, teach “slide”

Ss read and spell the word together.

3 T show a picture of “a toilet”, teach “toilet”.

Ss read and spell the word together.

T: Is there a tap in the toilet?

Ss try to say: Yes, there is.

T: Is there a TV in the toilet?

Ss try to say: No, there isn’t.

Teach “Is there a … in the…?” and the answer “Yes, there is./ No there isn’t.” 4 Teach” a reading room”

Ss read and spell the word together.

3 Show the pictures of part C

Ss talk about the pictures in groups.
