The Little Prince
The little prince is written by a French man called Exupery.s who is a plot but also a writer. Exupery wrote the book for his best friend leon werth because he said that all grown-ups were once children. So his book is not only for children but also for grown-ups.
The love between the little prince and the rose is a storyline. The travel experience deepen the miss and love. There are so many symbols like the king, the lamplighter and the stars. The story was soft, childlike and meaningful.
Grown-ups and children
What the parent should do is to help the children form the good habit of thinking creatively and critically rather than tell them what to do .The narrator drew two masterpiece which shows a boa constrictor digesting an elephant. But the adults can not figure it out and regard it as a hat . In their eyes,
children are sometimes abnormal that grown-ups would like to force them to follow their mind and adjust them in the right way. Actually, most of the children are just more creative ,they can see what the adult can not see and think from different respects. As we can't find two pieces of leaves are the same in the world, everyone of us is different from each other. The world need rainbow rather than dark.
Appearance is not everything
It is wrong for the adult to judge a person only from his appearance ,social position, possession and nationality. In International astronomers Conference, people do not trust a
astronomer’s idea of the planet B612 on account of his national costume .on the contrary, all of the people change their mind when the astronomer change his clothes .when you tell to your parents that you make friend with a new classmate, what the parents care about is the status rather than essential matters like: “What does his voice sound like?” “Does he collect butterflies?” or “ What games does he love best?” Instead, they demand : “How old is he? How many brothers has he? How much money does his father make?
love needs comprehension
The little prince and the rose love each other but have a lot of misunderstandings. They should learn to understand each other. The rose arrived in the planet secretly and attracted the prince. The prince had never seen such moving and special flower that he fell in love with it. But the rose was not any too modest and began very quickly torment him with her vanity. The rose’s word hurt the little prince that he decided to left the planet. Actually, the rose love the prince deeply and asked for his forgiveness finally. For she did not want him to see her crying. She was such a proud flower. Flowers are so inconsistent. But he was too young to know how to love her…
The relationship between them also can be seen between our lovers. The girl wants to catch her boyfriend’s attention that she would like to make more troubles. sometimes she would pretend to be weak to ask for the boy’s help endless care .However, sometimes she would pretend to be strong enough to protect herself. The reason why she did all of this was because she love her companion so much. In my opinion ,as a boy, he has the responsibility to take care the girl. When the problem comes out, he need to put forward it rather than escape. You can not judge a woman from her word but from her actions.
Friendship is another form of love
The fox was tamed by the prince that they connected with each other .The fox said they are unique to each other. The fox was willing to waiting for him no matter how long the time is. The fox taught so many lessons to the prince. She said that “words are the source of misunderstandings. But you will sit a little closer to me, every day.” It reminds the prince of his rose which he paid a lot of attention to. It is the same between the prince and rose. There are secret :it is only with the heart that one can see rightly ;what is essential is invisible to the eye. You can not know a person only by her word.
In the fox’s eyes, the prince was special and own him. But to the prince, he thought the rose had have him already so others can not own him anymore. The rose was his lover but the fox was just a sincere friend although the fox also love him.
Compared with the rose, the fox is more wise, actually, the fox always represents wisdom in our real life. She knew she love the prince so much and knew what she wanted from the prince. she was good at expressing her love to him no matter in actions or word. she gave her best to the prince. The fox deserve our applause. The fox can company the prince silently whatever happened.
Make full use of the time you saved
It is not important as time itself but what people can do with the saved time. Most people are trying their best to search all kinds of ways to save time just as the merchant said in the book that if you swallow one pill which was invented to quench thirst, you would feel no need of anything to drink. It can be some way to help people save a tremendous amount of time. But when you ask what they want to do with the time, a larger number of people will answer this way “I can do anything I want.” actually, they do not have exact plan, the purpose they save time is just to save time.
Love me, love my dog
If you love a flower that lives on a star ,it is sweet to look at the sky at night, all the stars are a-bloom with flowers. If you have a good friend, you can stand all of her shortcomings because she is you good friend, you trust each other. It also can be seen between the lovers. If you find your true love, her weakness also can be shining like diamond.
Prince’s travel to six planets
There are thousands of such people like king, the conceited man, businessman and lamplighter in the earth. we should learn lessons from them rather be member of them.
First, he visited a king. What the king fundamentally insisted upon was that his authority should be respected. he tolerated no disobedience. The high rank people always think of some ways to keep their authority that they will use some compulsory means to keep people subordinate to them. Different from those people, the king was a very good man, he made his orders reasonable that people can accept it.
The second planet was inhabited by a conceited man. other conceited man are as the same as he. for them ,all other men are admirers. They can not hear other word expect the praise. Second, he visited the tippler. when he was asked why he are
drinking, he said he may forgot his shame of drinking. people are complex creature that sometimes are in conflict.
Third, he visited a businessman. He want to count out the stars and occupy them. However as the prince, he thought people own something must in the reason of people is of benefit to them. He himself own a flower which he waters every day, he own three volcanoes which he clean out every week. No pain, no gain. You can not get what you want without give up something. the better the thing is, the more effort you should make.
The fifth planet was the smallest of all. One the one hand, the lamplighter had to obey the order, on the other hand, he want to be lazy. However, he was responsible for his planet that he was the only one of them all who not seem to me ridiculous. The sixth planet was inhabited by geographer. he never explore by himself. all the thing he knew was from explorers, he only wrote down the eternal things and ignored the transient.
I know the reason why the reading numbers in The Little princ is just second to Bible and was translated into more than 100 kinds of languages now. Because there are so many things
we can learn from the prince and other characters which is similar to many people. we can think over the relationship with others and make self-reflection in one’s whole life.
