I love English. English language is now used everywhere in the world. It has become the most common language on Internet and for international trade. Learning English makes me confident and brings me great pleasure.

When I was seven, my mother asked me to have English lessons. At there, I played games and sang English songs with other children. Then I discovered the beauty of the language, and began my colorful dream in the English world.

Everyday, I read English following the tapes. Sometimes, I watch English cartoons. On the weekend, I often go to the English corner. By talking with others there, I have made more and more friends as well as improved my oral English.

The Ideas of Learning English

As an international language, everyone all over the world starts to learn English. I am one of them. And I love English very much. Through years of learning,I gained many good ways. Today, I’ll talk about how I study English. I hope we can share the learning experience and learn from each other.

Firstly I am interested in English very much. When I was a kid, I thought English is a magic thing. So I became to like English day after day and I starts to enjoy learning it.

Secondly, I think listening and writing are very important. After finishing my homework, I listen to the tapes many times and read after the tapes. I

think it is a good way to practice my listening.

Thirdly, I like writing something in English. I often do it, so I need to remember many words every day. This work is not easy, but I keep on doing it, and now I enjoy it.

Meanwhile, I often watch TV on CCTV9. It’s a good channel to learn English on listening and writing. When I watch the TV shows, I listen to the voice and write down anything I hear from the shows. Now, I think it is a happy and excited thing to lear

n English from watching TV shows. These are my own ways to learn English. I think everyone has his or her own ways. The most important is to find a way that really suits you. A Lesson from Nature

Ladies and gentlemen: Good morning! Today, the title of my speech is A Lesson from Nature.

Around us, there are plants, animals and many other things. We live in nature, so to keep the balance of nature is very important for us. But today, too many trees are still being cut down in many countries and flood all over the world are getting more and more serious, A lot of land has gone with them. This is a lesson from nature.

When people move into a new place, they often cut down trees or pull out many wild plants to make farmland. They don’t know that trees can stop flood and wind from washing or blowing the earth away, and that many of these wild plants are food for some wild animals. If the animals can’t find enough plants to eat, they will die or have to leave the place.

In one part of the United States, for example, the deer there like to eat a kind of wild flowers. The mountain tigers there eat the deer. But people killed many mountain tigers to protect the deer. soon there were so many deer that the ate up all the wild flowers. Then the deer began to eat the green leaves of the young tr

ees .so the farmers thought of ways to protect their trees, then the deer had nothing to eat and many of them died.

The number of trees, deer, tigers, wild flowers and plants has changed much—less and less. We need to do more to keep the balance of nature. Thank you

The importance of time

Good morning, dear teacher and my friends!

My name is ****.I’m a student of Great 7 from ***middle school. I ’m very glad to stand here and give you a short speech today. My topic is “the importance of time”.

Someone says: “Time is money!” But I think time is even more important than money. Why? Because when money is spent, we can get it back. However, When time is gone,It will never return no matter how rich you are.

But it is a pity that there are a lot of people who do not know the importance of time. They spend all day on smoking, drinking and playing.They do not know that wasting time means wasting life.

As to us, a middle school student, School time is a very important period for our growing up. We should make full use of it to do something useful, just like learning different kinds of knowledge, taking exercise for a good health and so on.

Treasure of Life 生命的财富

I am a rich girl, because I have a lot of treasure. 我是一个富有的女孩，因为我拥有着许多的财富。

Friends are my treasures. Whenever I am sad and down, I know they would hold my hands and warm my heart. They show me how amazing the friendship is. 朋友是我的财富。当我伤心或者低落的时候，我知道他们会握着我的手并温暖我的心。他们告诉我友谊有多么美好。

Families are also my treasures. Whether time find us far apart or it keeps us close together, they are always standing by my side. They tell me how wonderful to be loved by people you love. 家人也是我的财富。无论时间将我们分开或者让我们靠得更紧，他们总是陪伴着我。他们让我知道被自己所爱的人爱着的美妙。

Experience is my treasure. Whatever good or bad situation I have to face, it would show me the right way. It helps me to know more about life.
