Education Pays

The above bar chart clearly shows us education pays in 2010. We see that unemployment rate of those with higher education background is much lower than those with lower education degree. For instance, the unemployment rate of college students with no degree is as high as 14.9% while that of those with doctoral degree is only

1.9%.

The following reason, in my opinion, is the most important one to account for this phenomenon. Compared with those with comparatively lower education degree, people who have received higher education possess considerably wider knowledge, more remarkable learning and research ability, greater innovation and most of all, resourceful social network, all of which make them more qualified and competent for their task. Thus, they are less likely to lose their jobs.

This phenomenon tells us that education

is a worthy investment. Therefore, education investment should be strengthened while we, as college students, should study harder to avoid unemployment.

Education pays

As the bar chart shows, the weekly earnings in 2010 were diminishing strictly from doctoral degree to high school diploma and even less than a high school diploma. And there is a clear gap among the data, high weekly earning is 1550 dollars, but the lowest earning is only 444 dollars, what a crazy phenomenon between the levels of education. Obviously, all the data bring out an apparent conclusion, education is a worthy investment!

Of course, the purpose of education is more than teaching students how to make a living or earn more money, which is only a small part of the meaning of universities. What the significance of the bar chart is telling people or parents that the payments on children’s education are necessary. On the other hand, through education, we not only developed individual knowledge and technologies, but also a more splendid society, showing on our eyes.

From the above, I thought such a phenomenon in the chart can bring us enlightenment that we can get so much from successful education, so, why don’t we happily accept the baptism of the spirit?

Education Pays

The above bar chart clearly shows us education pays in 2010. We see that one with higher education background earns more

money weekly than those with lower ones. For instance, the college students with no degree get paid $712 per week whereas those with a Bachelor’s degree can earn $1038.

Several reasons, in my opinion, can be identified to account for this phenomenon. To begin with, compared with those with comparatively lower education degree, people who have received higher education possess considerably wider knowledge, more remarkable learning and research ability, greater innovation and most of all, resourceful social network, all of which are essential to a high-income work. Also, the higher one’s education degree is, the bigger platform he will have to show his ability. For example, his college, university, or research institute will organize various job fairs for them to communicate face to face with employers.

This phenomenon tells us that education is a

worthy investment. Therefore, substantial education investment should be strengthened while we, as college students, should study harder to build our country and strive for a better life for ourselves.

As is shown above, the bar chart clearly demonstrates the relationship between the education level and earning in 2010. It is obvious that well-educated persons such as owning Doctoral degree and Master's degree have a high salary than those who have relatively low degree. Isolated as the figure seems to be, as a matter of fact, we can observe that the higher level of education you receive, the higher income you get.

People’s opinions about investment in education differ from person to person. Some people say that knowledge could no longer change destiny. To them, it is not only a waste

of money, but also a waste of time. Others deem that education is worthy of investment. As for me it is no doubt that education offers favorable working opportunity and handsome income, which enable us to buy what we want ,please what we love, and fulfill what we dream, and correspondingly we are able to build an ideal paradise where life can be enjoyed to the uttermost.

In conclusion, we should realize significance of education, which plays a crucial role in personal growth of career. In addition, it is convinced that education is the prospect of a nation.

范文二

From the chart above, we can definitely get a conclusion that the more you learned, the higher your salary would be. The figures in the chart denied the claim that knowledge is

useless. However quite a few people still hold the opinion that a higher education does no good to a better job since that there are many university students who cannot get an ideal job.

What I want to point out is that there is more than one factor that contributes to the failure of finding an ideal job for those who got a higher education. While those who failed to get a better education will hardly succeed in getting a good job because they didn’t get the knowledge systematically and scientifically.

As the proverb goes like this, Knowledge is power. Education pays, sooner or later.

Should we help strangers?

We used to appreciate those who like to help strangers. But nowadays people tend to be very cautious of strangers, because they are afraid that helping others can sometimes bring them trouble. In my opinion, we should try our best to help others in a reasonable way.

We should try to help others, no matter they are strangers or not. First, helping others is a virtue, and it will make our society more harmonious. Just imagine what a terrible world it would be if everyone was coldhearted! Second, to some extent, helping others is helping oneself. We may come across some trouble and need others’ help some day. If everyone turns a blind eye to our trouble and turns a deaf ear to our appeal for aid just because we are strangers to them, what shall we do at

that time? Therefore, we should be glad to help others.

However, helping others may

sometimes bring us trouble or even put us in danger. So when we are helping others, we should also protect ourselves and offer our help in an appropriate way. For example, to help someone who was robbed, calling the police is a much wiser way than chasing the robbers alone

Helping strangers has always been considered as a treasured virtue of mankind. We need help from others throughout our life, whenever we travel to other places or stay at home. On the other hand, helping others can make us happy. We feel great joy when we are trusted, needed and able to give a hand.

However, some people are cautious when it comes to helping strangers. They say that helping others involves risks of getting hurt or cheated. Lending a hand to a stranger often puts us in a vulnerable position for it means trusting someone we do not even know. Moreover, there are times when we have physical limitations. For instance, we can’t swim but a girl is drowning, what should we do? If we are blind to that limitation, giving a hand would conversely take our life.

In my opinion, we should still offer what we can do to help those needed strangers. Meanwhile, we should beware of getting cheated and use our common sense to tell whether the strangers are real needed people or just professional cheats. Detecting anything unusual, we should defend ourselves or turn to the police.
