中学英语听力教学心得体会

中国学生学习英语受到的制约因素很多,而听的机会则更少。初中英语听力教学是摆在很多英语教师面前的一个难题,那么应如何解决这一问题呢?
一、 用英语讲课,培养听的习惯
我们都有这样一个感受,长期不听英语会话,偶尔听一次,再简单也不能完全听懂,这说明听少了,单词记不清,反应跟不上。教师用英语讲课有利于集中学生的注意力,锻炼其感知能力,培养其想象力和思维力。在授新课时,坚持让学生合上课本,听教师发音;然后再让他们模仿练习,听课文录音,并根据所听内容简要回答问题,最后再打开课本,这样能让学生养成仔细听的习惯。
教师也可以用以下方法给学生创造更多的听的机会:教师用简单适中的英语组织教学,培养学生用英语思维的习惯。比如,教师上课提问的技巧,应随时注意学生的心理和情绪,提问时,面要广,又要有重复面。问过的同学还可再问,使所有学生都处于积极的备问状态。课堂上千万不要有“被遗忘的角落”,要选择合适的问题,让不同程度的学生回答,坚持每个学生都有实践的机会,特别对有害羞心理、不敢开口的少数学生,更要创造条件,鼓励他们大胆开口。总之,提问的技巧,就是要争取照顾每一个学生的情绪,调动其学习积极性,使教学场面生动活泼,吸引学生的注意力和求知欲,活跃学习气氛。教师还可以开展英语朗读、会话、表演等活动,每学完一段新
对话,让学生模仿写一段,并分组表演,锻炼学生的口语表达能力。说好是在听好的基础上进行的,能说得好,听的水平自然就提高了。所以,本班每星期一节英语短剧表演,例如:go for it八年级下unit 4 he said i was hard-working,设计短剧,学生拿到成绩单后回到家中家长和孩子的对话,这一情景贴近学生生活,学生积极设计对话内容,从而让学生在亲身活动中不知不觉学到知识,既锻炼了口语,又提高了听力水平。
二、 采用灵活多变的形式,增加听的信心
语言是有音有形的,听作为获取信息的手段,比看难得多。语言的速度由发出信号的一方决定,听到的信号瞬间消失,能听懂基本意思,但不能记住所听内容,出现听后忘前的现象。遇到听不懂的词或语句,往往心情紧张,来不及分析、思索,造成漏听。越是听不懂越紧张,越紧记不住,从而影响对全文的理解。因此,教学中应注意培养学生听的兴趣,在课堂上创造一个轻松、和谐的气氛,追求宽松、积极主动的学习氛围,努力消除学生因害怕、沮丧、反感而产生的心理障碍;采取灵活多变的听音形式,并把竞争机制引入听力教学,以激发学生的听音兴趣,调动他们的听音积极性。
教师可以多采用比赛形式,初中学生喜欢竞赛,比赛能够培养他们的竞争意识、合作意识、团队精神。如:准备一段文章把全班分成a、b两组,让学生把听到的句子说出来,比赛哪一组说正确的句子多,并且一人只能说一句,为了小组的荣誉,平时不爱发言的同学在同学们的鼓励下积极发言,为小组争得了一分。这样让每个同
学都可以品尝成功的喜悦和成就感,从而情趣大增。
在初中英语听力测试时,学生可以先把题浏览一遍,找出重点词语。所谓重点词语就是这些词能反映故事的性质、特点。比如:对话、理解题较听单词、短语或句子难一些,不过一般读两遍。我们首先必须听懂录音中4~6句对话和所提问题,才能选择正确答案或回答问题。如:
a: hello,lily. did you enjoy your birthday yesterday?
b: yes, very much. my friends mike, peter and jane were all with me.
a: did jo come to your party?
b: yes, but he was 1ittle late.
question: who was late for lily's birthday?
a. jane b.jo c.lily d.mike
本题需要先看清试题的四个选项,听第一遍录音时,重点听几个人物的关系,听所问的问题,并抓住关键词语who was late;听第二遍录音时,重点捕捉“who”即可。
三、 加强技能训练,提高听的效果
听力理解即根据声音来建立意义,理解的过程就是建立意义的过程。在这个过程中,丰富的联想、良好的记忆、逻辑推理是必不可少的;听音辩音、听音悟义能加强感知能力。只要在头脑中形成较强的语言感受和感知能力,听觉才能从复杂的音差中进行准确的识别、判断,从而获取信息。
在听力教学中,要注意对学生进行听力技巧训练,听力技巧包括语音技巧和理解技巧。语音技巧指连续、弱读、失去爆破、句子重音、意群划分等。而理解技巧是指听力内容的检查、预测、取舍等技巧。如在听力测试中经常会遇到辨数字这类题。对这类题学生普遍感到头疼的是“十几”和“几十”的选择。在教学中要求学生完整地听文章,遇到长单词可省略中间部分,只记词的首尾部分。听第二遍时,可对第一遍记得不全的地方进行修改、补充,从而完善其内容。其实,有的空根据上下文、语法、习惯用语、背景、常识可以得到答案。总之,只要学生掌握了听力技巧,多听多练,听力水平定会提高。
在教学中笔者发现,大多数学生都已经做过很多的听力训练,但是却未认真总结归纳过自己的错误。事实上,许多同学在听完一套练习后往往对一下答案就算完事,这显然没有起到应有的效果。笔者要求学生把平时训练中经常出错的地方找出来,查出错误原因,再听一遍原问题,寻找到本题的语感,然后时常在心中默念,这样就可以把原先感到陌生的对话映入脑海中,今后遇到类似的情景就不会有心理阻碍,答题也会顺利得多。
具备良好的心理素质是提高听力的必要条件。专家实验和真实数据告诉我们,如果听音时积极、主动、充满信心,就可以最大限度地发挥听者的正常水平。急躁是听力的天敌。在考试中,大多数同学在听dialogue时,由于上一题没有听清楚或答题时间已过还未做出选择等原因,错过了下一个dialogue,致使一些平时成绩较好的同学一错就是连着两三个。教师要告诉学生这些考试中可能出现的情况,
并告诫他们如果遇到类似的情况不要再犯“捡芝麻,丢西瓜”的毛病,此时此刻,放弃是最明智的选择。当然,在听力部分全部结束以后,还可以回过头去仔细回忆dialogue的内容,作出判断。
四、坚持学习,提高教师自身水平
教师自身必须有一定的素质水平,就一位英语教师而言,首先要不辞辛苦地锻炼自己的专业知识和专业技能,要求自己发音准确、口语流利、文化背景知识丰富、语言功底深厚。其次会拓宽自己的知识面,学习语言教学与学习有关的各个领域的知识和技能。
教学是教师的教和学生的学组成的双边活动。教师的教居于主导地位。实践证明,教师的主导作用和学生的主体作用是相辅相成的,两者不能偏废。教师发挥主导作用的根本条件是不断地提高自身的思想政治和业务水平。一个合格的教师,首先要忠于党的教育事业,热爱本职工作,热爱每个学生。同时必须具备一定的专业知识,具备过硬的基本功。教师还要善于运用教育学和心理学原理,根据学生的生理和心理特征,采取有效的教学方法和技巧,排除学生在英语听说中的心理障碍,调动他们的主动性和积极性,发挥他们的主体作用,这样才能充分发挥教师的主导作用,才能启发学生的主体作用,使二者有机结合、相得益彰,才能使中学英语教学达到新课程标准中提出的要求和目的。
