My ideal English teacher is a humorous person with nativeAmerican accent and rich knowledge and experience.

In his or her class, I can not only learn the knowledge such as words, phrases, and grammar in the books by both teaching and exercise instead of only endless exercise or speaking,but also know some real local conditions or customs in other countries, such as college life, traditional food, festivals and so on, which can help us understand this language better and make the class more interesting.

What’s more, my ideal English should know how to educate students well in a nice, smart way. In my opinion ,it should be a happy thing to learn English ,so I think the teacher first should try to build a relaxed, interesting learning atmosphere by telling some funny things or some different daily life abroad , which contribute to make students get in and enjoy the class. Second, a clever teacher had better enrich the teaching methods, except traditional teacher’s speaking and making students do the exercise, watching movie clips with great and useful dialogues, analyzing students’ good or bad works in all the whole class are also wonderful ways to teach us English. Third, we students really need teacher’s encourage and affirmation, which gives us motivation to insist on the English study. So my ideal English should never be too mean to encourage and admire his or her students.

After all, nobody is perfect. No matter we are ideal or not for eacher,I think we students and teachers should understand and respect each other well and try our best to make the progress together.
