    在具体分析此次四级作文题目之前，笔者先对历年四级作文考题的类型做个共性的研究。从类型上讲，历年考题大致可以分成四大类：

1．正反对比论证

2．现象原因，问题解决

3．图表

4．应用文(书信、演讲、海报等)

    在上述四类题型中，最后一类是最近几年才出现在四、六级考试中的文体，主要考查考生的英语表达基本功和写作实力，很难有固定模式可言。但是另外三类是四级考试的传统题型，出现频率非常高，可以把握的规律性很强。
    这次四级作文题目明显属于第一类，是历次作文中比较简单的一次，即针对某种社会问题，提出两种对立观点，最后要求作者阐述自己的观点。这类题型最早是从美国的托福作文题型借鉴而来，后来被四、六级考试广泛借鉴。但是自20##年6月份之后，由于其自身的古老性和模板化，该题型曾一度让位于其他题型，而今它再次活跃于四级作文考试的舞台。

20##年6月份四级作文的标题和提纲如下：

    从结构上看，此次四级考试作文提纲还是那种既经典又保守的“三段式”：第一段是一个非常典型的现象引入段，阐述背景，交代需要分析的一种现象；第二段列举两种对立观点，进行正反对比论证；第三段是传统的“我的看法”段，即表明作者自己的观点和态度。
    就此次作文题目而言，我们可以在第一段中大致地介绍一下如今的信息社会。第一句可以用一个标准的现象引入句，第二句开始说明如今娱乐活动的多种多样。
    在文章第二段，先阐释正面的观点，列举娱乐活动带来的好处。这其中考生们要注意自己的立场，同时要注意各个理由之间的逻辑关系，适当地运用表示层次关系的词语。正面观点阐述完毕后，对娱乐活动可能带来的危害性，可以用一两句话略写，同时附以一两条理由作为理论支持。
    最后，在结尾段中，用简单明了的语言表明作者的态度即可。

    对于正反对比论证结构的作文，笔者建议写的时候把握好以下三个要点 (以本次四级考试作文题目为例)：
    第一，在作为引言的第一段中，我们一般要通过各种方法为第二段的主体讨论作铺垫。这些方法主要包括：背景介绍法、大意总结法、引用名言法、场景描写法、设问法等。其中最通用也最好用的方法就是背景介绍法。切忌在文章一开始就进行深入分析，要先简单地引入介绍，然后循序渐进地转入分析。简言之，首句引出话题，如：娱乐活动在社会上引起了热烈讨论(The issue of recreational activities has triggered a heated discussion in the society)；第二句具体说明现状，如：越来越多的人热衷于参加娱乐活动(Increasing numbers of people are fond of taking part in various recreational activities)。
    常见问题：用词匮乏。如：more and more, join等。
    基本对策：改词换词。如：an increasing number of, take part in等。
    第二，在第二段进行正反两方面论述的时候，考生要注意保持客观的态度，把两方面的观点表达清楚。论述的侧重点可以落在多数群体的观点上。在展开论证的时候，提倡具体形象地论证说明，反对笼统抽象地论述观点，所以可以通过说原因或举例子的方式使文章显得生动。
    常见问题：结构不清，缺乏层次感。
    基本对策：利用“总—分”结构，分如下三个层次进行论证。
    层次1：将中文提纲句“娱乐活动可能使人们受益，也可能有危害性”翻译成英文放在第二段段首作为总起句，做到开门见山：No one could fail to notice both the favorable and unfavorable influence that recreational activities bring to people.
   层次2：接下来说明“娱乐活动的益处”，然后用一到两条理由去支持该观点：Recreational activities are good to people's health, both physically and mentally.这其中考生要注意自己所站的立场，以及各理由之间的逻辑关系，在必要的地方添加表示层次关系的连接词。
    层次3：接着考生要大胆地推翻前面所述的一些人的观点，用转折性的词语引出另一些人的观点，即“娱乐活动的危害性”。在这个层次中我们同样遵循前文的标准，给出一到两条理由作为理论支持，如：Spending too much time on recreational activities will seriously affect people's normal lives, especially work and study.
    第三，第三段要求考生表明个人看法，这里考生可以围绕“取其精华，去其糟粕”的论点，表明针对多样的娱乐活动，可以利用其好处，对不好的地方避而远之：We might as well learn how to avoid some negative effects of recreational activities, when making the most of them.
    常见问题：用语过于直白或极端。如：We must...
   基本对策：要站在中庸的立场上，客观地评价。如：From my perspective, we should pay more attention to the advantages of various recreational activities.

On the one hand, recreational activities are good to people's health, both physically and mentally. For instance, sports and dancing can keep people fit, and surfing the Internet can bring people a lot of information and knowledge. On the other hand, recreational activities might be harmful if people are addicted.       20##年6月21日的大学英语四级考试已落下帷幕。这次考试的作文题目又是密切联系生活的大众话题．相信同学们都有话可说。出题的形式又是最常用的汉语提纲式，暗示了文章的框架，只需按照提纲顺序写就可敷衍成文。
      但如何安排文章内容，还需斟酌，印勿匆匆厂笔，离题万里。从这次作文的要求可看出第一点宜扩展成文章的引言段。最力便的写法是以描述现象开头，即先用一、两句话简要叙述娱乐活动的多样性，然后顺势引出主题。
      提纲第二点可扩展为主体段。虽然提纲中提到了“受益”和“危害”两个方面，但笔者以为：由于本文应阐明人们该如何娱乐或者参加怎样的娱乐活动，故不妨把较多笔墨花在阐述 ：‘危害’’上。因为将不当娱乐的危害讲清，文章的主旨就水到渠成：大学生应该选择有利于身心的娱乐活动。
      主体段是文章的核心，最能展示考生的英语功底，既要内容详实，沦证有力，又要在结构上有层次感、连贯性。首先，要有内在逻辑性。比如，在分析原因时，可沿着由表及里、由浅人深、由远而近的顺序；在分析后果叫，可按照由小到大、由轻到重、由直接到间接的顺序。在英语写作中，要write in and in，不要write on and on.
此外，适当地使用过渡词语是加强文章的连贯性和层次感的外在手段。过渡词语就像粘  合剂，起着承上启下、穿针引线的作用，可以使内容联系更为紧密，层次更为分明。比如，本文主体段的第三句中使用了转折副词however，就顺畅地从第一、二句的益处转到对危害的阐述。再如，本段从论述对身体的危害过渡到论述对思想的危害时用了worse，二者之间的层递关系便一目了然。
      按照提纲的要求，第三点宜：扩展成文章的结尾段。结尾段要紧扣提纲，即从大学生自身的角度简要说明自己的看法和做法，注意人称要转为第一人称“我”。从文章引言段末尾的反问，经过主体段的分析论证，文章的主题已呼之欲山，结尾段用一句话点明主题即可。其次，结尾段还要注意与主体段内容的呼应，在结尾段中作者认为娱乐活动应该“既使人轻松又富有教益”，暗含主体段中的不当娱乐刘人身心的危害。总之，结尾段的写作要取豹尾之势，宜干脆利落，忌拖泥带水，一般不要超过二句话。

Recreational Activities

      With booming economy and rising living standard of its people, China is now home to a vas array of recreational activities. Clamorous merrymakers flock to bars, internet cafes, dancing hall and nightclubs on weekend nights.  Some claim that the Chinese are happier than ever before. But are they?
      It is no doubt that recreational activities, if well chosen, play an indispensable part in our lives. They provide an outlet for our pent-up frustrations and energies, an occasion for networking and a showcase for our acting talent. However, recreations that are poorly chosen could bring harm to us, either physically or ideologically; or both. For example, over-night internet surfing or online chatting among some college students may cause difficulties for them to stay focused in class the next day. 这是一篇试题中给出汉语写作提纲的作文，对于提纲类作文，学生在写作时应包括提纲中的全部内容，并且应按提纲给出的顺序依次表达。根据提纲提炼出与之相吻合的段落主题句是写好提纲作文的关键一步。因此，首先要审清题，构思好了才下笔，方能事半功倍。

For many years we have been using disposal plastic bags when we are shopping on the market, and most often these bags are offered by the shops for free. This, undoubtedly, has brought us great convenience in our daily life.

However, its disadvantages are also very apparent, and I’ll just venture to explore two aspects. 　　Those who always tell truth or keep to their promise not only let others trust them but gain respect from other people as well. Such persons are sure to have a lot of good friends. Because they are trustable and respectable, everyone is eager to make friends with them, Besides, it is easier for a person with a good record to get a good job. Generally speaking, every employer wants his employees to be honest. So we can say that anyone who is honest will be paid back later.

In modern era, there are quantities of people having started to suggest that our famous campus should be opened to our tourists from different places while others suggest not. This problem has caused a heated discussion in our society.

    People's attitude towards this phenomenon varies widely. Many people

maintain that our campus has its regular arrangement for students’ daily study and life. Therefore, we shouldn’t disturb to some extent. So they think that our campus can’t be opened to all. However, as every sword has two edges, others argue that opening campus to tourists is feasible. Every famed college has a long history with which every foreigner acquaint themselves.

    All in all, my personal view is that, as the latter above, our campus should be opened widely. This will make more people know our culture and history. Therefore, if we start to manage it properly, our college will be led to a more harmonic and splendid environment in the near future.
