英文履历书写的基本原则

英文履历和一般中文履历的表现方式稍有不同,就整体来说,一份能够积极展现个人特色、优点以及潜力的英文履历是比较容易得到主试者青睐的。不过要注意的是国内外商公司的主管毕竟通常是台湾人,过分夸张卖弄的语气还是少用为妙。

那么,英文履历的书写有哪些基本原则呢?

1.勇于表现个人风格,不要拘泥形式

英文履历没有所谓的固定形式,你必须衡量自身以及职务需求,打造最能凸显优势的内容呈现方式,并且格式要自行设计。往往履历本身的整体独创性也会是列入评分的项目之一。以所附的模板为例,有时候你可能不一定要写出「professional Qualities」(技能以及专长)这个项目,或甚至以「Summary」(经历概要)来加以代替,这些都完全取决于你自己的弹性。

2.文章以条列编排为最高原则

主试者可能每天要看的履历不只上百封,停留在一份履历的时间顶多不超过10~20秒的时间。因此建议将文章内容以条列方式呈现,让主试者在短短的时间内能马上抓住这份履历的重点。

3.尽量控制在一张以内的份量

一份厚厚的履历对忙碌的人事主管来说会是个可怕的梦魇。因此即使有再辉煌的事迹值得陈述,还不如多费一点心思设计你的版面,务必以不超过两张纸为原则。

4.搭配求职信(cover letter)

这部份将在后面更详细的说明。求职信兼任着自我推荐的角色,是英文履历不可或缺的搭档。有了她,你的履历将威力倍增喔。另外下表说明在撰写履历以及求职信时,建议可以参考你个人工作经历的长短以及是否有职业上的转型等来做一些重点调整。

5.英文履历并不需要附上照片

除非应征的公司有所要求,否则一般并不需要贴上照片。

履历书的基本写法,针对转职验较少的求职者

字里行间表现出你的十足干劲

写履历的时候,要注意到是否有「起承转合」的整体感。为什么你要选择这间公司以及这个职务?你自己本身具有哪些能力?今后你想做些什么?你自己的卖点在哪里?照你自己的方式以及风格,将这些东西顺序的表达出来。

但另外一方面,工作经历较少的人可能相对的较不容易展现其绩效以及能力。因此在这里你要善加使用「successfully」、「effectively」等有冲击性的形容词来强调你对工作的企图心及热诚。不过要注意你的英文用字遣词要到什么深度,必须衡量个人真正的能力。千万不要为了表现英文能力而硬挤出过于艰涩的文章。到时候面试的时候露出马脚,那可就糟了。 最后,记得再次检查你的拼音以及数字是否正确无误......

申请出国留学如何写简历

在准备留学申请材料时,作为对外联系的主要文件之一的简历(Resume)的质量高低将直接影响申请者的成功率,为了能让对方清晰地了解申请者,简历在写作方面应力求真实、全面、简洁、明了。

留学申请者的简历应包括以下这几个方面的内容:

1.姓名。力求与各种学历证明的姓名相同,如有更改姓名的情况,务必在公证时予以声明,并附上公证书。

2.性别。

3.出生年月日及地点。力求与各类学历证明的出生年月日一致,出生地点写明国别和省份。

4.国籍。

5.婚否。

6.现在工作单位及详细通信地址。

7.个人教育背景。包括大学、硕士阶段的在读时间,所在大学的名称、专业和所获学位,参加工作后的受教育经历,主要指脱产接受专门的进修、培训或学习。

8.个人从事专业的经历。填写专业经历应力求抓住重点,突出研究方向。担任教学工作的可列出主讲、助讲的课程名称,担任研究工作的可列出参加各个研究项目的课题名称。

9.个人的著作、论文或研究成果要分门别类列出,并一定要与个人专业经历相一致。所列著

作要注明名称,出版年月,出版单位。所列论文要注明论文题目,刊载杂志或期刊名称、期号、语种。对于在学术会议上发表的文章还要注明学术会议的名称、召开时间和地点等。如果其中有被外国学者评论过的,最好附上刊载评论文章的杂志名称及时间。

10.外语水平。注明参加TOEFL、GRE等考试的时间、地点及成绩。若申请者掌握多门外语,则要一一注明语种并说明熟练程度。

11.参加何种学术团体,得到何种荣誉。学术团体一般应是省、市或行业一级以下的专业学术团体,在学术团体中所担任职务可加以注明。荣誉主要是指在专业、技术研究方面获得的奖励和荣誉,并要注明获奖名称,颁奖时间和颁奖单位。

12.拟申请的大学和导师的姓名。可根据申请者查询的资料予以注明,并要注意按照每

个单位、每位导师一份简历的原则,即在同一份自传中不必注明全部想要联系的单位和导师。

13.拟进行的研究方向和希望从事研究的题目。国外院校的专业面一般较宽,要根据国外情况,力求专业面与其一致。研究课题可根据自己的研究兴趣和需要,同时也要尽量考虑对方的条件。

在简历的书写过程中申请者还应注意必须尽力保证字迹的工整、清楚,最好用打字机打印。总之,一份成功简历的秘诀在于:既不要言过其实,又必须充分反映自己的实际水平。

从我们猎头公司的角度看这篇英文简历,感觉还是不错的。可以用这样几个字来概括:条理比较清晰,结构比较完整,用词也比较规范。如果说还有哪些地方需要提高的话,可能在“卖点”上需要花一点功夫。从比较专业的眼光去品判一篇英文简历,我想简单概括以下几点,也可为想写好英文简历的经理人作参考:

1 英文简历的格式其实很简单,可以根据自己的经验和专业能力搞得新颖一点。但基本上不外乎以下几个要素,如:

Summary:

Professional Experience:

Education:

Qualifications &Professional Designations:

Hobbies(If need):

在Professional Experience 之前的要素,描述不用太长篇,高度概括即可。面试人,特别是老外,可从中看出你的英文概括能力(长句的使用)。

2、英文简历中,专业经验、经历(Professional Experience)部分是重头戏。因为这个部分是面试人最感兴趣和关心的,以后即使在面试时,也差不多围绕这个在说话。写简历的人需要花大“手笔”去描述这个部分。 怎样才能描述好,要抓住以下几个关键:

工作职责Responsibility。

工作业绩Achievement: 如完成了多少指标,如何完成的?管理多少人,利润提高了多少?等等。

在A,B 中,要不厌其烦地用比较数字说明问题,因为猎头或面试人可能对你的专业不很了解,但每一个人都对跳跃的数字感兴趣,并且记得住,如:团队由最初的3人发展到现在的15人,经销商由99年的3家扩展到20xx年的23家等等。

不要光写成功经验,也要提及曾经走过的弯路和失败。最好是写一个例子,说明原先某个事件看上去已经失败,但通过你的努力,提高很快,很显著,你也从中学到很多。告诉面试人或写在简历上你是通过哪些办法去改变的。老外往往对这一些很感兴趣,因为走过弯路再成功的人更吸引人,也对他的公司更具有实际操作意义。

这个部分用词也有讲究,能令人兴奋和印象深刻的词很多,如:rebuild up, developed, exceed, participated, enhanced, coordinated, conducted, assisted processed,

implemented, management,prepared, consolidated, contributed more than % for, over, revenue, growth, excellent performance,top,strategy, awarded, significant increase, milestones, etc.

4 最后一个部分可以简单写一些你的个人爱好(Hobbies)和个人情况(Personal

Information).面试时,面试人(包括很多老外),通过对你这部分看似平常的,非工作性的情况的了解,(特别是请高级管理层),更能评估你这个人目前的状态和你对社会、家庭的一些看法,以及看出你解决一些实际问题的思路和能力。

总体来讲,写英文简历并不难,难的是要赢得面试。我们经常在上面的讨论中谈到面试人和我们猎头对这份简历的看法。任何一篇文章,不在长短,也不在形式花俏,而在于它的特点和卖点。而且特点和卖点在一开始的时候就应该显现出来。就像19xx年风险投资盛行时,你如果想吸引风险投资家的目光,你必需在开场白的5分钟内让人对你的项目感兴趣,在45秒内让人明白你要做什么,简历只是把这种表白书面化了。任何一个看你简历的猎头和面试人都希望在最短的时间内知道你的特点和卖点,都喜欢一个能给他们带来与众不同的人,能给他们带来别人所没有的东西。如果你的简历在这点上作了文章,可能幸运之星已经在向你招手了,也已经有人对你动心了。

教你写英文贺卡

Have you seen a picture of a little bride and groom?So it's for weddings.In China we send wedding cards as well. Often we're enclosed with money. And then this one is happy anniversary.And if you know someone, especially at that time, if you're remembering their wedding or if you were in thei r wedding perhaps, you might send them a card to remind them. And what's the right thing to write?

Well if somebody is getting married, we always s ay "Congratulations", don't we?

"Congratulations on your happy day or on your wedding!". And "Congratulations on your anniversary!"

After the wedding comes the next card. "Congratulations on your new baby!"

This one says "a little boy". But anytime there's a birth of a child, you could write "Congratulations on the birth of your new baby" or "On the birth of your child."

There're other kinds of congratulations that you might want to do. For example, if someone moves to a new home, you might write someone a little card and say " Congratulations on your new home", or……

Or your new job. That's very common because people do change jobs. Usually you change for the better, get a better job. So it's nice to remember somebody with a card. This one just says "Congratulations". I recently sent it to a young man who graduated from school. And I think this is a standard note. My whole family signed it and we told him "good luck in the future", since he had just finished school.

The last category is very important for those crazy foreigners who are always saying "thank you".

In Western culture, one of the most important thing is to say "please" and "thank you". So in a "thank you" card you might begin by saying, "Dear……" good friend, good

neighbor, their name. And then say thank you for whatever it was, you buying me dinner, helping me with something.

when you write a "thank you " card you don't have to write a lot. And inside it's bland;

"thank you" is on the outside. You just write "Thank you for the lovely dinner "; "Thank you for the wonderful outing";"Thank you for the lovely gift. ."

Those are all good.And you should have at least two "thank you's" in the note, at the beginning and at the end. So it does seem like too much. But we want to go over how to close these. Some endings would be……You might end a love card with "I love you " or "Much love". But you might end a friendship card with "fondly", which means fondness and friendship, or "Your friend,Jack", or "I'm thinking of you,Rose ." And "thank you", you would end with "Thanks again".

Yes, this is a good one to remember, because in a "thank you" card, at the beginning you might say "Thank you for the wonderful evening", "We had such a good time being with you", and whoever, "in your new house." Thanks again.

And a more formal one you might say, say it's your boss's son who graduated, you don't know him well. He is not a personal friend. But you send a card, you might say "Best

regards" or "Best wishes" or "All the best". Those are all good ways to finish the note and then sign your name.

英语应用文写作之便条写法

便条是一种简单的书信。虽然内容简单,但却有其独特的风格。主要目的是为了尽快的吧最新的信息、通知、要求或者活动的时间、地点转告给对方。常见的便条有收条、欠条、留言和请假条等。

便条可以有题目,也可以省略题目。

便条开篇须有称呼语,但称呼可以比较随便。

日期部分可写在便条的右上角。

日期的签署通常只需写星期几或星期几的上午、下午,也可只写上午或下午和具体时间。只写日期也可以。

便条结尾须署上留条人的姓名,位置在正文的右下角。

便条的形式和内容简洁,故可以用几句话概括。

文内语言尽量通俗口语化,简单扼要,直截了当,无需使用客套语言。

便条虽简单,但中心务必突出,更要注明活动的时间及地点。

一、合约的标题

英文合约和中文合约都一样,标题并不是一定要有的,因为当事人间的法律关系是用合约内容的各个条款来判断,标题基本上不会产生任何影响。但为方便辨识的考量,合约撰写人通常都会依照合约性质,在合约首页的最上方给予一个适当的标题,例如 "Share Purchase Agreement"(股份收购合约)、"Joint Venture Agreement"(合资合约)、 "Loan Agreement"(贷款合约)、 "Distribution Agreement"(经销合约)、 "License Agreement"(授权合约)等等。

二、合约的序文

英文合约在标题之后,各式各样的条款出现之前,通常会先有一段「序文」,一般而言不会占去太多的篇幅,目的在很简略地介绍合约规范内容之人、事、时、地、物等背景。详细来说,序文通常又分作以下两个段落:第一部份文字叫做 "commencement" ,也就是合约的「开场白」,内容在说明合约当事人姓名或名称、当事人的国籍与住所或主营业所、订约日期等等。

合约开场白里要说明当事人的国籍,在自然人的情况下可以用 "a national of ……"或"an individual with the nationality of ……"来表示,如果是法人组织多半使用"organized and existing under the laws of ……"这样的字眼,其中"organized"也可以用"incorporated"来代替。

& registered office

"registered office"是指一个公司的注册所在地,它和"principal office" ,即主营业所并不一定位于同一个地方。举例来说,现在台湾很多本土企业基于税务与方便性的考量,流行在海外几个特定的地方,例如英属维京群岛(British Virgin Islands; 简称"BVI")成立所谓的纸上公司("paper company"),此时这个公司必须在BVI当地设有一个registered office,但是公司的principal office则可能不在BVI,而位于台湾本土,因为公司一切的业务经营实际上都在台湾进行。

英语合同写作的常用句型

凡是接触过商务合同签订的人对下面这四个句子都不陌生。不过,越是熟悉的反而越容易出现错误,因为容易“想当然”。看看下面这四个句子,你有没有出过错呢?

1. 本合同用英文和中文两种文字写成,一式四份。双方执英文本和中文本各一式两份,两种文字具有同等效力。
