Weather has a great influence on people. It influences people's health,intelligence (智力) and feelings.
In August, it is very hot and in the southern part of the United States. People there have heart disease (疾病) and other kind of health problems during the month. In the Northeast and Middle West, it is very hot at some times and very cold at other times. People in these places may have heart disease after the weather changes in February or March.
The weather can also influence intelligence. Very few people were coming to eat at the White Rose Restaurant, and its owner didn't know what to do. The food in his restaurant was cheap and good, but nobody seemed to want to eat there.
Then he did something that changed all that, and in a few weeks his restaurant was always full of men and their lady friends.
