态势语是口语交际活动中传递信息的重要手段，是通过身姿、手势、表情、目光等配合有声语言传递信息的一种形式。而教师讲课时，有时也要借助一些手势来推动课堂教学。教师可以补充强化口语的信息，跟学生 沟通交流情感。学生上课时，注意力集中到老师一个人，教师如果态势语运用不当，会对学生造成不好的影响，一些态势语的训练是有必要的。 态势语中的身姿语训练包括行、站、坐姿等，假如每天有意识的做几次“坐如钟和立如松”的训练，会使教师整体的形象得到提升。教师的手势语训练运用自然、适度，不要繁多生硬，与有声语言和身姿的协调，对学生的影响也是潜移默化的，学生注意力便于集中。表情语对教师极为重要，老师的表情会在教学中与学生发生感情共鸣，是课堂效果丰富、生动而又充满活力。目光语的训练异是如此。要求表情语眼神的变化不要过于频繁，要适度。服饰语的运用是对学生的引导，教师的服饰仪表整齐干净，协调自然，学生会像老师学习，指导学生的身心发展。
