I know what my students needNow I have been a teacher for five years.I know what my students need clearly.Maybe they want to have a lot,but there is the most need of the success for them.Success is very helpful for students to learn English. So I often give them the opportunity to make them successful.Students prefer to express themselves, so I like to give students opportunities for self-expression. For example, in a consolidation phase,I always allow students to take turns reading, as "a teacher". All the students are fond of beig a teacher, even some are not good in English.Bacause they can lead others to read and feel the joy of success. On the other hand,I often ask students to perform in front of the classroom. When I review the dialogues in the textbook,I will ask some to act out.At this time, Many students raise their hands and hope me give them a chance. They can play the dialogues very well like”At a snack bar”,””and so on.On the whole, students enjoy these activities. More importantly, they can gain a sense of accomplishment. But if they fail in the activities, they’ll be very sad and expressed. So I always choose suitable activities for them.I think it’s a good way to make them successful by activities.I hope every teacher can do it. Of course, the students will be happy to have a sence of the success. I think it’s my students’ need most.英语教师口语表达材料 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------The first English class I taughtGood morning, dear friends and the honorable judges. I’m very glad to be here and give you a short speech to share our teaching method and experience together. I hope we all can enjoy the time. Now, today my topic is: “The first English class I taught”.I’m so lucky that I have got this job I had been looking for, and I do love my job now, love my pupils and my education life. We all know that life at school is changeable, because the children are growing up everyday. From last September up to now, I can’t remember how many English lessons I have taught. Let me see, perhaps 280 lessons, which one was the first English class I taught? I shall never forget. The first lesson was for the students in Grade Three. They’re the beginners of English learners. So the most important thing for me is to arouse their interests in learning English. Before the class, I prepared a lot of things for my first English class. For example, the teaching plan, the teaching tools, power point and the teaching cards. All these prepared were for my teaching and in building a practical environment. I tried to use “the situational teaching method”. But I also should study the teaching materials further. In that Unit, the key vocabularies are: “pig, dog, horse, cat and duck”. The m

ain sentence patterns are: “What’s this/ that? It’s a….” I think all the students like animals, so I prepared many games to arouse their interests and sympathy. At the beginning of the class, I took the students into a zoo, using a large picture. There are so many animals, but each of them was covered partly. So first I let the students guess “what’s this?” And if someone was right, I would give him a little star or a lovely present. Then they showed lots of interests in it. But later the students became more noisy in the class. They not only wanted to guess correctly, but also wanted to win the little star. However, at that time, I suddenly remembered Miss Wang. She had told me: “you must use the prize for each group so it can help you control the class.” So I gave each group a rectangle and told them that a quiet circumstance was required and awarded. Then I would give them another one, and to see which group ranked the first. After that, even if I showed a lot of interesting cards or other things to them, I can control the class easily. Because a good learning environment is the base of a good lesson. 35 minutes passed, my first 35 minutes, my first English class, ended with the bell ring, I think I won. Each one has many “his first time”. But in my life, the first English class was the most important one. I should never forget it. After that I consider myself not only a teacher, but also a learner. First, I must prepare all I will teach. Secondly, I must find ways of helping my students to understand their assignments. Thirdly, I must then try to understand and respond in a helpful way to my students’ ideas. Fourthly, I must force myself to be creative, because if I deliver a boring lesson, my students will feel bored. And to be creative, I must learn more. Now I’m a new teacher here. Do you think that means power and passion? Thank you very much for your attention. How to make my class active and interactiveLadies and Gentlemen, It’s an honor for me to be here to make a speech.. Hope you enjoy a wonderful time! First I want to say is here my topic, which is how to make my class active and interactive.Actually , when I stepped to the 3-foot platform to be an English teacher , I tried my best to make my students practice the patterns time after time , I hoped that they would get high marks in test .However , my students didn't care about it , they showed less attention to my class.Until one day, a student had a talk with me. He said : ”I’m learning many things that are boring, useless and not valuable. So I’m tired of studying. Miss Ma , can you understand me? ”At that time, I felt my class was lack of active and interactive patterns. Then I gradually found that make class active and interactive is from active learning to interactive teaching.First , we should be energetic and encouraging .Because our passion can make class want to learn English, t

hey will act with nature and show more potential abilities. Also,we should praise in various ways. In our class we often say “good, very good”, the simple word not only make them active in class, but also foster their sense of achievement in future learing..Secondly, we should make class meaningful and creative. In class, we can use the short and simple sentence, use the body language to communicate with students .We should give students clear purpose and offer them opportunities to try, to create and allow them to fail. Make sure the class relaxing and interactive, be familiar to the feeling of English language.Coming up next is organizing games and activities .You know, activity is the key part of class. Including paired work, competitions, role play, guessing game, TPR activities, and so on. Whatever I use , I should often change the way. From students and I; student and student ;to students and students. Make all class. The last but not the least is helping the class feel comfortable with asking me questions and answering my questions. To do this, do not criticize any questions from students .This will insure that students will continue to ask questions. Do give more chance to students ask and answer , make students and ourselves learn interactively. So after class students can listen, read, write, think without force and pressure, keeping interests and motivation .This is my talk from my experience, sharing with you today . Thank you for your attention!英语教师口语表达材料 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------I know how to make them successfulI know success is very helpful for students to learn English. So I always choose suitable activities for them.I think it’s a good way to make them successful by activities.I hope every teacher can do it.英语教师口语表达材料 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------They do and then they learn Group work takes an important part in Engl

ish class. It depends on the activity. I usually teach the students to do things by themselves through the activity. Then they can learn a lot. When they’re divided into small groups, I can join each group for a while, but only as a participant not as a leader or inspector. The purpose is to let the students solve some problems they come cross by their own, this not only trains their ability of learning and using language, but also can improve their communicative competence. For example,do a survey. When the students learned Unit3 “Hobbies” from 5B,in order to give students to use these key sentences and "hobbies" words flexibly, I have devised a survey for students to start investigations. Such as “Do you have any hobbies?Yes,I do.I like …” In the course of discussion, they must solve all questions by themselves. After discussion, each group choose one student to report to the class how they have discussed or what the problem they didn’t solve . At the end of the class, I always offer my ideas about the problems and give a short comment on their work. Usually great encouragement should be given to the students and make them full of confidence in themselves. In short, they can learn a lot by themselves through group learning. So they do and then they learn.英语教师口语表达材料 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------Can you read the students’ faces? Can you read the students’ faces?Of course,I can.As a teacher,it’s very important to read the students’ faces. If they look excited and active, they must be fond of the class. But they look blank and dull, they may be unwilling to have the class. In my class,I always observe all the students’ faces , especially poor students.I have a student. He is a boy.But he’s very shy.His name is Xia Yangqing. In the past,he was afraid of English and failed in talking. When he talked English with others ,he would feel nervous. He always keeped silent in class. Many students said Xia Yangqing was a bad boy. They didn’t want to play with him.I know he must be very sad.So I often had the sense to call him to answer some easy questions in class. If he answered well,I would praise him at once. Gradually,he had a little confidence.I always tell him:”Yangqing, well done! I believe you! You’re the best!”Since then he changed .He began to enjoy talking. Now he finds it’s easy to talk . He has more confidence in English. He doesn’t feel nervous in class no longer. He succeeds.I’m very happy to see his growth. If one student has some trouble in learning English,he must be expressed in his face. So let’s read the students’ face at any moment.Maybe a smiling face or a sentence from our teachers will change the child's life.英语教师口语表达材料 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------Be a good observer in the classro

omI think one of the most basic requirements in a good lesson is to pay attention to each student. So we must observe them at any moment in the classroom. Of course,to observe the students’ faces is a important step.If they look excited and active, they must be fond of the class. He succeeds .I’m very happy to see his growth. If one student has some trouble in learning English,he must be expressed in his face. So let’s read the students’ face at any moment.Maybe a smiling face or a sentence from our teachers will change the child's life. How to assess the students in classI think the teacher should be fair to the students in class. But different students have different characteristic. If you try to use the same way to assess different students, it may lead to failure. So I have different requirements for different students.I’d like to aseess the students with a general principle : more praise. The purpose of our assessment is to help and encourage students to develop their English level, build up their self-confidence, raise their interest, learn to self-reflect.So praise is a good way. It’s powerful. When the students are praised, they must be excited and pleasant. Usually, teachers can apply some brief sentences to the course of praise such as “Wonderful.” “Good.” “Excellent.” “Welldone.” and “You are a clever boy.” I think it’s more effective for students to use a accurate language to assess them.I have a student. He’s in Grade Three . He often does disruptive behaviors in class regardless of my criticism. But one day, I praised the boy for his god gesture at the very moment he sat very properly when the class began. I said: “Boys and girls, look at Xia Yangqing, how properly he is sitting there…”Of course,I use body language to help them understand. Realizing that he was the example of the others, the boy kept his good gesture throughout the class. This is a successful and creative application of praise. In short, the students care a lot about how the teachers assess them .I hope my wo

rds can somehow help everybody to assess students英语教师口语表达材料 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------I talk with my students this wayIn my opinion, students and teachers are equal. We should repect them and we can't scold them when they make mistakes. In a word, we should treat children as human being. But it is easy to say that different to achieve. When some parents see a child doing something with difficulty, they tend to help his\her immediately. This response is part of our human nature and should be understood. However, too much attention and care can destroy children's activity and confidence. Instead, we should believe them and encourage them.In school, some teachers do not respect pupils. They would scold, critize children when children misvehave. Such behavior would definately do great harm to children and destroy their dignity, self-confidence and motivation in learning. What's more, teachers and parents tend to think that children are just like a blank piece of paper. They should be fed with knowledge which is useful for their future life. As a result, children are given very little respect and freedom in choosing or developing their own way of thinking and learning. We believe that children should be respected in terms of what to learn and how to learn. Humannistic education requires the teachers to treat children as human being who have their own thoughts and needs. Teachers should never try to force their ideas into children's minds but try to think from the children's point of view. We should learn to offer children opportunities to talk, to create and allow them to fail. This is the same with language learning. Children need to be allowed to try new language to learn from "trial and error" and gradually they will become independent learners.Otherwise, we should realize that it is not reasonable to expect children to achieve the same goal. We should realize every student is different from each other that we should talk with them in different ways. The English curriculum has also stated that the important aim of teaching English to children at the beginning is to build up their confidence, to provide motivation, to show them that English is fun and to encourage them just to ues whatever English they have to communicate. An expert points out that we should not angry with students' errors. In opposite, it will make children lose confidence from fear of making mistakes, making them reluctant to take risks and they are likely to become dependent on the teacher to correct their errors. If we pay too much attention t accuracy, students will not be willing to speak freely without being 100% sure.At last, as we know, children do things that interest them and make them feel good about themselves. Children are active, creative and imaginative. They like to act and play games. So providing activities for children

is a good way to talk with them. They need the opportunity to exercise their imaginations and creativity. They will not like to be lectured but to be involved in actions and presentations. They need to be recognized for what they do and praized for their efforts and participation. Therefore, their experience of learning the language leads to the successful communication between teachers and students. At last, I want to say teachers should be friendly and treat children as human being. Obviously, children have great interests in learning English. The classroom atmosphere is relaxing and active. We can talk very successfully. We can understand each other in classAs we know, learning English is for communication. So in our English lesson, we should make sure that teachers and students can understand each other. If we can do it well, students and teachers will feel happy in class. It will lead to a good result.I remember last week I was ill that I can't stand in class, the students near me found it out. So the students asked me to sit down and one of the students moved a chair for me. I kept sitting on the chair for the whole class. However, the students, especially the nauty students kept silent in this lesson. They concentrated on the whole class. After class, when I went back to my office, some students followed me. I think my students are so kind and friendly that they understand their teacher. This is about students understand teachers. There's another example. Last year, I taught Grade3 and Grade6. Otherwise, I was the headteacher of Grade. When I got busy, my toast will not be comfortable. One day, a student of Grade3 disturbed the other students in my class. I warmed him but it was no use. I became angry and asked him to be quietly with high voice. My toast was not comfortable at once. The other students scolded the boy, but I asked them not to do so. Ater that, the boy stood up and came up to me. He gave me a cup of tea and recognized the mistake. I think the boy and the other students understand me very much. As teachers, we should understand our students, too. As we know, children are naturally curious and active. They're full of enthusiam and often shows a lot of eagerness to participate. It is often said that children's attention span is short. So some teachers become strict to his students. I think it shows that teacher can't understand the students. Because children are quite different from adults. Adults often learn with a clear purpose or motivation in mind, while children do not usually have a clear purpose for learning another language as they may regard it just as another school subject. So if some students can't control by themselves, we can't become angry, he should be tolerant and patient. We can stop talking to arise his\her attention instead of scolding. One day, I had free talk with my students in class. I asked a poor student where are you going? He answered

I'm going to the hospital. I asked him why. He told me that his grandfather was ill. I said I'm sorry to hear that. I hope his grandfather will get better soon. This produre helped the teacher a lot. He became active in that lesson and I often found that he smiled in my class. I can conclude that he is becoming interested in English gradually because of my concern. Are there any ways for the teachers and students to understand each other? I think so. For example, when students get good performance, I can smile at him\her to praize. It can make the students feel the enjoyment and success of learning. When some students can't act well, that they feel embrassed, as teachers,we can give encouragements with our eyes. It says "It doesn't matter. Please try it again." When we're talking with the students who's very nervous and hescitated to talk. They look at the teacher nervously. We can encourage with our eyes so that he becomes confident. When a student's face shows he is not sure about the answer of my question, I will give him an opportunity to listen to another student. When the student's eyes are not active, maybe he's thinking other things, I can ask his deskmate to answer my question. When the expression of students shows they can't understand me well, I know that they have problems with the lesson. I will not be angry, insteading of teaching them again. So I think if a teacher wants to make students understand him\her, he\she should understand studentd, too.英语教师口语表达材料 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------I never talk too much in classAs we know, children are naturally curious and active. They're full of enthusiam and often show a lot of eagerness to participation. It is often said that children's attention span is short, so some teahcers become very strict to their students, but I sometimes find small children can concentrate on one thing for fairly long time. So it really depends on what they do. For the first year teaching, I'm not good at controlling the students, so I often ask my students to sit straight to look at me and listen to me a lot. But in a result, it doesn't benefit the students and teaching results. So I realize as teachers, we can't talk too much in class.First, as a teacher, we should be a good organizer. When we give students an environment to talk, we should organize the students well. To teach adults, we do not need to worry about it. Because they can control them by themselves. In this period, we needn't to worry whether our students can talk or not,we just pat more attention to their discipline. If the classroom discipline in under the teacher's control, students can talk a lot freely in the environment the teacher provides. However, if the discipline is not good, class is in disorder. So as a teacher, we should organize our class in order, but not to talk too much about discipline in class.

Second, we need to create a very relaxed and friendly environment for children to try to speak in the new language. I think if the children feel happy in my class, they will listen to me very carefully and I don't need to repeat again and again and there is more time for students to talk. When the students finish talking, we need to encourage them and praise them for being brave. I think creating a relaxed environment should be quite easy to get them involved in learning and talking. It helps me a lot in teaching and I need not to talk too much in class.Third, I give many opportunities to my students. When they act well, I give them praize. So from these opportunities, they can praize a lot and I needn't to talk much. Because in my opponion, if teachers give them opportunities to experience with the language, children learn faster and better when they're happy and relaxed, when they're involved phusically and mentally in activities, when they are given the opportunities to act out what they are able to say or sing. In this way, they can gradually develop interest and build up their confidence in learning.Fourth, when it's time to consolidate the new lesson, I never repeat the new words or main points or sentences a lot. Sometimes I ask my students to summarize the new lesson. For example, when I finish teaching the lesson of teaching, it's time for students to make a dialogue using "Can I help you? What would you like? How much? What color...?The red one."and so on. I ask my students to tell me what the shop assistant should say and what the customers say. I choose the students who say well to act. I never repeat the main point for students. I think students can consolidate the main points from their our consolidation.Fifth, when organizing the activities for my students, I never talk too much. First, I often organize some activities that should be simple enough for children to understand. I needn't explain a lot for it. Second, before activities, I provide a clear meaningful purpose to my students and make them know. They can get a lot from the activities and talk with each other freely. Third, the task should be within their abilities. That is to say, they can communicate with each other by themselves, not depending on teachers' help.Teaching is for students. The class is mostly for students. We're just their organizer and helpler. We shouldn't talk too much in class.英语教师口语表达材料 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------My students enjoy my classesChildren are different from adults who often have clear personal goals and objectives for learning a foreign language. For children, a foreign language is simplu another school subject they have to do in school. Children do things that interest them and make them feel good about themselves. Children are active, creative and imaginative. They like to act and play games.

And they need the opportunity to exercise their imaginations and creativity. They will not like be lectured but to be involved in actions and presentations. They need to be recognized for what they do and praized for their efforts and participation. Therefore, in my class, I plan just for my students, not according to my own ideas.First, I create many opportunities for them. Children learn faster and better when they are given opportunities, They are happy and relaxed, when they are given the opportunities to act out what they are able to say or sing, they can gradually develop interest and build up their confidence in learning. That is to say, if I give them many opportunities to practice English, they like my class. Second, I often organize many activities or competition. After a long presentation or some individual work, the teacher, may use some activities or competition. When they act well, we should give them much praize. They need to be recognized for what they do and praized for their efforts and partipation. They can get success from the process of activities or competition. Of course, the activities we organize should contain 3 aspects: 1.be simple enough for children to understand. 2. Provide a clear meaningful purpose to my students. 3. The task should be within their abilities, it needs to be achieveable but at the same time stimulating for them to feel satisfied with their work. They enjoy the activities and competition, so they enjoy a lot in my classes.Third, we should play some interesing games with students. The main problems of using games perhaps are the discipline problems. However, we should try to overcome the problems to benefit our students most, instead of scolding their for them when they can't control. In fact there're many games which are quite simple and easily to manage with large classes. If we can organize games well, there aren't discipline problems. They can get enjoyment from games and they can feel they are successful.Fourth, if we want our students feel successful, it is not reasonable to expect children to achieve a high goal. The English curriculum has also stated that the important aim of teaching English to children at the beginning si to build up their confidence, to provide motivation, to show them that English is fun and to encourage them. English teaching should make students feel successful. So when students make errors, we can't scold them. It will make children lose confidence from fear of making mistakes, making them reluctant to take risks. When they pay too much to atention on accuracy, they will not be willing to speak freely with being 100% true.Fifth,if we want our students feel successful, as teachers, we should be friendly and treats children as human beings. Obviously, children have great interests in learning English. The classroom atmosphere is relaxing and active. They can get success from it. However, if we are so strict that the students feel scared

and can't concentrate on learning. At last, he will feel disappointed in learning English.Sixth, we should give a good assessment when the students act well or making progress in exams. As teachers, we should establish an assessment system to motivati children's learning. They're satisfied with the assessment that I give them. They hope to be recognized by his teacher and classmates.Seventh, in order to make my students love our classes, we should be their good friends, especially some poor students. That is to say, we should pay attention to every student. We should judge if they're happy or unhappy according to their expression and let the students know your teacher loves you very much. What can we do when a student fails inWe can meet with this situation in our class. At this time, we should be as tolerant as we can. The English curriculum has also stated that the important aim of teaching English to children at the beginning is to build up their confidence, to provide motivation, to show them that English is fun and to encourage them just to use whatever English they have to communicate. So if we're lack of tolerance when a student fails in talking, we may hurt students' dignity and confidence. What can we do when a student fails in talking, I think we can do as following:First, we should care about the students' feeling and doesnot want to embarrass him. Maybe if we give him\her a hint. The students can realize something and continue talking by himself.Second, when a student can't talk, sometimes because of time, we are hurried to turn to another student. The advantage of doing this is that it helps raise the students' awarness of this kind of situation. The disadvantage is that the students' confidence may be hurt and he may not want to answer any question later.Third, we can't become angry when a student fails in talking. Learning English is a long period. If we become angry when a student fails in talking, it will make children lose confidence from fear of making mistakes, making them reluctant to take risks. A good teacher should be friendly and treats children as human beings. We should realize when a student fails in talking, we should help them, instead of scolding them. On one hand, it will hurt the student. On the other hand, the other students will be afaid of English. The classroom atmosphere will not be relaxing and active.Fourth, every student has his own ability of learning, so we can't give the same and high goals to the students. If the student failing in talking is a good student, I will give him some hints and ask him to go on. If the student failing in talking is a poor student, I will give him some important hints and help him talk. When he finished his talk, I will ask my students to praize him. It can help him believe he is not poor. He can talk well. He has potencials in learning English.Fifth, sometimes when a student fails

in talking, I will ask him sit down. But I realize that I'm wrong. Every chance and opportunity is equal for every student. If we can give them the opportunity and go on talking, I think the students will try his best to seize the opportunity. However, if we don't give them the opportunity to other students, he will lose interest in English. So the purpose of our teaching is not only for teach students language, but also for developing interest and motivation for learning. Children will learn faster and better when they are happy and relaxed, when they are given the opportunities to go on talking.Sixth, we should realize that students are different from each other. Some are nervous. Some are not good at talking. We should give them more concern and encouragement. It can motivate the students. However, if we give the same goal for all the students, when he fails in talking, if I've scolded him, he will not like the teacher. At last, he will not like English because of teachers' mistakes. We need to care for the whole child. So I conclude that one of the goal of education is not to make different students similar, but to help different students develop unique qualities.英语教师口语表达材料 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------The teacher's role in the clssroomAs far as teaching English is concerned, the teacher's role in the classroom contains some aspects. First, communicating with children in English in the classroom is so important,a very important thing is obviously your English. That is to say, you should be competent in English, which means you must have reasonably good pronunciation and intonation, can communicate with the language in oral and written forms. So the first role in the classroom is that we should be very good in speaking English.Second, beside language competence, we should be a good organizer, we need to be able to organize games and activities. To teach adults, we do not need to worry about all these. As long as you are competent in the language and knowledgeable, can explain the language well, in general, you will survive in an adult class. But it is opposite in teaching children. We should organize some interesting games and activities that they are connected with teaching.Third, in order to make my students active in my class, we can't be very strict with them and angry with their mistakes, we should be their good friends, especially some poor students. That is to say, we should give them more concern. We need to understand how children think and learn. We need to care for “the whold child”instead of just caring for the language that we're teaching. We need to judge if they're happy or unhappy according to their expression.Fourth, I thin to be a good teacher, we should try to be a good thinker. It is impossible to teach my children following my teaching plan. That is to say, we need to be good

at using different teaching techniques, which work with children. For example, group competition, guessing game or if they act very well, they can be given some favourite cartoons to watch or if some students make much progress, they can do less homework. I think these ways can attract our children well. We can't use the same method for teaching adults to teach children. That will definitely lead your teaching to failure.Fifth, it seems that teacher is like actor. We should sing or act, good at teaching stories and acting out in dramas, even at drawing and dancing. With those capabilities, we certainly will add to our strength as a primary school teacher. In my class, I try to be myself. In addition to using above capablities, we should find a way to develop our strength, personality, experience and beliefs in teaching our children. At last, expect being a teacher, the teacher's role is that we need to help children to develop in an all round way linguistically, intellectually, culturally and morally. So we should be a good helper. We need to guide them in mastering learning strategies and learning how to learn, help them to develop the ablity of using imaginations and learning to solve problems. We also need to teach them to care for others and respect others.英语教师口语表达材料 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------I teach them to do things by themselves Children are different from adults who often have clear personal goals and objectives for learning a foreign language, e.g. finding a good job, going abroad, making more money, talking to foreigners, etc. But children do things that interest them and make them feel good about themselves. Also, they depend a lot on teachers. So as teachers, we should teach to do things by themselves.Parents tend to think that children are just like a blank piece of paper. They should be fed with knowledge which is useful for their future life. So parents ask their children to have lessons, such as lessons of piano\maths\English that students have no choice. But I think we believe that children should be respected in terms of what to learn and how to learn. Humanistic education requires the teachers to treat children as human beings who have their own thoughts and needs. Teachers should never try to force their ideas into children's minds. We should learn to offer children opportunities to try, to create and allow them to fail, but they should finish it by themselves. This is the same with language learning. Children need to be allowed to try gradually they will become indepedent learners. As we know, teachers and parents should treat children as human being. But it is easy to say but difficult to achieve. Parents tend to have strong disires to protect their children, to control them and as a result, to spoil them. When we see a child doing something with difficulty, we tend to help him\he

r immediately. This response is part of our human nature and should be understood. However, too much attention and care can destroy children's ability to create, to try new things and even to do basic things in life. When these children grow up, when they have to face new situation and problems. indepedent and when have to make their own decisions, they would definitely suffer a lot because they have formed the habbit of depending too much on their parents. Maybe we can't change parents' mind, but we can teach our students that doing things by themselves is very important. Now they are just children, but they have the prevelege to do things by themselves, it is necessary in future. Because our society is so tense that if we depend on the others, you can't adapt to the society. As a teacher, we can teach them a lot about their learning and life. In learning, helping children develop learning strategies has also become part of our teaching objectives. Therefore, we should teach them some methods. For example, we can teach them the importance of listening, speaking, reading and writing. About listening, I tell them that they should listen to the tape 20 minutes every day, otherwise they should listen to the teacher and classmates carefully in class. Listening to others carefully can train their ability of listening. About speaking, they should not be nervous and should be brave in class. They should seize the opportunity to talk with others. When talking with the teacher or classmates, they seize the main points of their talking. Otherwise, I teach them that they should speak English as much as possible. About reading, I teach them that it takes a lot of time to read if they want to speak English very well. They can be satisfied with the contents in class, it's not encough. They should read more materials after class. About writing, maybe some students are afraid of it. Because they're not sure whether they can write well. So when I assign homework about writing, some students give up or ask their parents. I teach them that writing by themselves is very important. If they practice, they will be better. This is for their learning. About their life, as teachers, we should tell them that they can make an information form about their daily life and od everything according to the form. Then their life in in order. So as teachers, we should believe children and respect them. Because they can do things by themselves.英语教师口语表达材料 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------They do and then they learnAs we know, children are nuturally curious and active. They're full of enthusiam and often show a lot of eagerness to participate. It is said that children's attention span is short, but we sometimes find small children can concentrate on one thing for faily long time but not on other things. So it really depends on what they do. As teach

ers, we know that students like activities very much, for example, listen and do, Simon says and so on. Such activities attract them and they're interested in them. For example, when I teach how to introduce "This is my mum. This is my father. This is my teacher." I ask them to make a glove and on the glove, they should draw picturs of mum,dad and teacher. When they have prepared gloves, I think they have known how to call his father, mother and teacher. However, when they are talking with their partner with the gloves, they practice and learn how to introduce. I think they get interest and practice from this procedure. However, the goal for teaching English at the primary school is to cultivate their interest is learning, helping them establish good learning habits and develop useful learning strategies.I remember a lesson is about teaching a rhyme in Grade 1. The rhyme is "Daddy, Mummy, I love you." First, I ask my students to stand up. Because the rhyme is easy. Students are familiar with the sentences in their life. So I ask them to say and follow me how to express with body language. The students are so relaxed and happy. Of course, after this practice, they learn the rhyme well. When I ask them to say this rhyme to their parents, they become more excited and practice more patiently. So I conclude that introducing a foreign language to children is like opening uo another window for them to see the other side of the world. This will arouse their interest and curiosity in different cultures and different ways of communication.I have another example. When I teach the song "do exercise with me." Because there are some new words, I teach the pronouniciation of the new words again and again. It takes a lot of time. The students got a little tired of it that they don't do action well as I expect. I think if I teach the new words several times, but not repeating again and again. The result is so like this. So I learn that it is to hard image that a child who gets tired of something will work hard and make efforts in learning it. So it is important to ensure interest and activity in learning a foreigh language for children.Children do things that interest them and make them feel good about themselves. Children are active and creative. They like to act and play games. So they need the opportunity to exercise their creativity. When we ask them to do actions before learning something, we can see everybody has his opportunity. We give the opportunity to experience with the language by doing actions and develop a sense of it rather than immediately focusing our attention on learning formal grammar rules. Children will learn faster and better when they are happy and relaxed, when they're involved physically and mentally in activities, when they are given the opportunities to act out what they are able to say or sing. In this way, they can gradually develop interest and build up their confidence in learning. In English cla

sses, most of the time is for students. We ask them to make a dialogue or have group competition or take part in activities. They have high interest in it. Gradually they love English and love English teacher. A lot of children like to learn the language simply becacuse they like the teacher or they enjoy the classroom activities in which they can gain success. Similarly, children can develop a negative attitude towards the language simply because they do not like the teacher or the classroom activities. So as teachers, we need to design a variety of activities that cates for different needs and provide different opportunities for children to do and learn.英语教师口语表达材料 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------He\She is not a bad childAs a teacher, we can feel if all the students are lovely and study hard, it's so great. But the fact is not. All the students are different from each other. We engage in teaching some poor or nauty students. The poor students need our help and the nauty students force the teacher to control them or attract them into our class. But are they bad children? I don't think so. If we think tghe whole class as a garden, maybe they are the flowers or trees that are not very beautifyl. Maybe we don't like these flowers or trees, but they play a great role in our class. Before I have a student. His name is HanJinxin. I have taught him for two years. But he's lazy and dirty, so some teachers and his classmates don't like him. Otherwise, he likes playing computer games in his spare time and doesn't concentrate on his lessons and homework. Their parents are very angry with him and often ask help for teachers. As a teacher, I often have a chat with him and often ask him to do things for me. He is happy and reluctant to do so. But when he meets his homework or has lessons, he can't do well. Gradually I lost confidence with him. However, one day I heard from his headteacher that he cheated his parents and took 200 hundred yuan from his house. I can't believe it. Why? So little the boy is. He's just eleven years old. Since this happens, every student in his class lookded down upon him. As teachers, we should be responsible for it. So one day after school, I asked him to my office and had a chat with him. First, I prepared a cup of tea for him and asked him sit down. On that day, I told him everything about my childhood, he concentrated on it and then he told me something about his family. His parents are both workers and everybody they work hard and are very tired. But they give him a high goal in learning, they ask hin to get more than ninety-five points in every subject. If he can't, they will scold or punish him. Gradually he lost confidence in learning and hates learning, so in his spare time, he gradually likes to plau computer games and is involved in it. So he is lack of money. I felt very surprised when he finished talki

ng, I told this to the headteacher. We went to his house and talked with this problem with his parents. I remember we kept talking for about 3 hours. His parents both realized that they make mistakes. They gave too much pressure to his child, but the result was the opposite. We told them that your child is not a bad child. He is good at something, for example, helping teachers do things, cleaning the blackboard, taking part in the cleaning very actively in school. During this period, he got warm from his teachers and parents and formed his confidence gradually. When he graduated from primary school, he made much progress in every subject. On this Teachers' Day, he sent a card to every teacher. I'm very moved. So in fact, children are not bad and stupid at all. Dr. Howard Gardner, prpfessor of education at Harvard University suggests everyone is different in terms of the intelligence they have. As a teacher, we should believe every child and try to help them and develop each students potentials. After this education, I think out a story. It is a nauty child. He doesn't listen to the teacher in class and doesn't do homework after class. The exam is coming and his teacher had a chat with him. The teacher talks with him about the hope of his parents and the competition of the society. After this communication, everything seems to change and it seems that he changes into another student. The teacher is proud of it and talks about this when all the teachers sit together. After several years, this student went to the university. One day, the teacher got a letter from him. In this letter, he thanked his teacher about the concern the teacher gave. But it was a surprise that the student told the teacher that he can't understand the meanings of what the teacher talked. But when he student came to the office, the teacher asked him sit down immediately. Also, the teacher wasn't very strict but very kind and friendly. It was very different from other teachers. So I think every student looks like flowers. They are like the sun in the morning. They are with great hope. If we treat them with our heart and patiently, every student is excellent.英语教师口语表达材料 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------I know she\he needs my helpLearner difference is an important topic for language learning and teaching. Only when teachers realize the differences among their students, we're able to teach according to the different learning styles and the needs of the students.Once I have a student. I have taught him for two years. But he's lazy and dirty, so some teachers and classmates don't like him. Otherwise, he likes playing computer games in his spare time and con't concentrate on his lesson and homework. His parents are very angry with him and often ask help for teachers. As a teacher, I often have a chat with him and often ask him to do things for me. He is

happy and reluctant to do so. But when he meets his homework or has lessons, he can't do well. Gradually I lost confidence with him. However, one day I heard from his headteacher that he cheated his parents and took 200 hundred yuan from his house. I can't believe it. Why? So little the boy is. He's just eleven years old. During this period, he got warm from his teachers and parents and formed his confidence gradually. When he graduated from primary school, he made much progress in every subject. On this Teachers' Day, he sent a card to every teacher. I'm very moved. After this education, this student studied very hard. Although he can't understand the teacher in class, he kept looking at the teacher in class and concentrated on everything what the teacher taught. Besides, he often helps his classmates actively. If someone got ill, he will not hesitate to prepare a cup of tea for him. If someone forgot to take an unbrella on rainy day, he will not hesitati to take him home. Otherwise, he never played computer games again and often helped his parents do housework. I heard from his parents that he had changed a lot. When he graduated from primary school, he make much progress in every subject. On this Teachers' Day, he sent a card to every teacher. I'm very moved. I think without that help, without patience, without friendness, he will change so much. So as a teacher, we should learn our students and can't scold them when they are not good or make mistakes.I have another example. The student is a girl. She is poor in every subject. Her parents have disvorced. But when I became her teacher first, I didn't know the fact and I was very strict with her. One day in the

morning, I found that she didn't do her homework, I asked her to my office. Because it was the first time that she hadn't finished homework. On that day, she told me that something about her family. Her parents had discovered for several years and her mother was very busy every day. Her grandmother took care of her. Although she wanted to study hard, she was still influenced by her parents. She can't feel the warm from her parents. Gradually she didn't like learning. Because she was not clever that she can't get happiness from learning, either. I felt that she needs my help at once. So I paid much attention on her in my class and I gave her more opportunities to practice. Afer class, I often asked her to help me do something. After school, I often helped her review English. Gradually she was close to me and she began to learn English. I heard that she made progress in other subjects. So I conclude that children need to be encouraged and helped more than critized. They need to be treated as human being. Therefore, words like "You can!Good try!Exercellent!"will give students a sense of success. A lot of children like to learn the language simply because they like the teacher. Because the teacher is friendly to him or pays more attention to him and gives him a lot of help. Similarly, children can develop a negative attitude towards the language simply because they do not like their teacher. Because the teacher is lack of patience when the student needs help.So as teachers, we should provide help when the students need help.英语教师口语表达材料 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------When he\she feels nervous in classAs teachers, we can meet the problem that when one student stands up to answer my question, he\se is very nervous. In this situation, we can do as following.First, we should encourage him\her. We can say "Don't be nervous. Don't be shy. You can do it well. I believe you can." Gradually the student will become more confident and maybe he can answer my question.Afer that, I can ask my students to praize him\her. We can say "Good, good, very good!". Especially, there're some special children who are slow in subjects, such as languages, maths. Unfortunately, these students are not treated equally as those who can do well in language, maths. Their interest in learning is discouraged and they're regarded as poor learners in school. To these students, we should give more concern and encouragements when they feel nervous in class. I remember that one of my students is very poor in English. If she is not good in one exam, her parents will scold her. Gradually, she becomes inconfident in English. When I ask her to answer my question, she is nervous and afraid to look at me. I often smile at her and encourage her to answer my question. If she can't answer me at all, I will give her some hints to help her. When she gets the answer, I will

praize her. So encough praize to the nervous students in necessary. They need to be recognized for what they do and praized for their efforts and participation.Second, when a student is nervous, we can't be angry with him\her, or scold him\her. Because how a teacher speaks to children, how he\she treats children are both important for creating a possible learning environment. If a pupil gets nervous, instead of scolding the child for it, the teacher should first try to understand the reasons behind such behavior and think in the pupil's position. I remember a fact that one day I asked a student to make a small dialogue with his partner, he was so nervous that he can't do it well. I was very surprised and didn't know why. Because he was not like this before. However, I treated him patiently and asked why. He told me that because he didn't do homework very well that he was afraid of it. I said "You will not do it again next time, right? "Now you're passing on a nice feeling and creating good atmosphere for learning. Children need to be encouraged more than criticized. They need to be treated like human beings. Therefore, words like "Good try! Excellent performance! You've done a good job!" will give children a sense of success and this is very important for encouraging students.Third, when a student feels nervous in class, we can't change into another child. Because every student is equal and he\she has his\her opportunity. We help him\her to give him\her the opportunity to experience with the language and develop a sense of it rather than immediately focusing on our attention on finishing our tasks. He\She will be happier and he\she answers me. So children learn faster and better when they are happy and relaxed. When they are given the opportunities to act out what they are able to say or sing if they are not nervous. I remember a fact that in one class, I was hurried to finish my teaching tasks, when a student was so nervous that she\he can't answer my question well, I asked another student to answer. After class, when I talked with this student, he\she told me that if he\she is not nervous, he\she can answer my question. However, if I encouraged him\her and gave him\her more time, he\she will not nervous and become confident. So if we believe him\her and give some time to be confident, he\she can gradually develop interest and build up their confidence in learning.Fourth, if he\she is nervous in class, I can ask another to answer my question together. For example, when I askedl him to read the new words "green", I can ask him and his partner to read in pairs. It will help him to be confident. These are the methods of the situation when the student feels nervous in class. It is obvious that the teacher and the teaching methods are playing an important role for shaping children's interest in learning. A lot of children like to learn the language simply because they like the kind teacher who can give them opportuni

ty and success. The teacher's attitude is very important for shaping their attitude to learning. So we should use many teaching methods when they feel nervous in class. 英语教师口语表达材料 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------I listen to my students attentivelyAs teachers, if we want to listen to our students attentively, we should be their good friends and show much patience to listen to them. Otherwise, we should give them much praize when they talks well. They need to be recognized for what they say and praized for their efforts.Last year I was a headteacher of Grade 3. And I assigned a lesson about the topic " My teacher, I want to tell you!". This lesson was prepared and organized by students. This lesson was so happy without my control and it was a good opportunity for me to listen to my students attentively. For example, Qianqian said "One day, I've got a cold, Miss Yao took me to hospital by bike and she was very hot. The doctor regarded Miss Yao as my mum,and I'm moving and proun.". Another student said "One day after class, Miss Yao told us about her childhood. It was very interesting and educated me much. I felt that Miss Yao is like our friend. Sometimes Miss Yao told us about her happiness or sadness, and we know Miss Yao has happiness or sadness as us. I want to say to Miss Yao, I'd like to be your friend for ever." The student Wang Dong said that he wants to study English very well, but he's too lazy and feels sorry for Miss Yao. Wang Kun said that he often hands up in English class, but Miss Yao didn't asked me him to answer. I asked myself whether Miss Yao likes me or not.I have another fact in this new term ,I teach Grade5. I ask them to copy the oral homework on a piece of paper and stick it on their books. Everyday they should finish reading or reciting their books according to the oral homework and ask their parents to write down their name to show their child had finished this homework. And I wil check the homework tomorrow. My students have kept making use of this way for about two weeks. And I ask them to write down something about this way. Every student shows their oppinion and tells me other great reading methods. I think these are about my listening to my students attentively. The children's eyes are so bright and can realize the concern the teacher gives. And they will gradually like learning.I often ask my students to preview the new words by themselves at home. When I begin to teach, I often ask some students to be a little teacher and tell me and the whole class how to read. During this procedure, I listen to my students attentively. When every student finishes his teaching, I give hinm praize with the whole class. I can see he is very happy and confident. And he's eager to learn English. Then I will tell them that if you can preview English carefully, if you try your best, you will be an excell

ent student. So from this procedure, students create confidence and interest of learning and at the same time, they will form a good learning habit. You know, there're many activities in English class. Students should make a dialogue with his\her partner and act out. During this procedure, I should listen to my students attentively. If they make mistakes, we can't scold them at once. Maybe from their mistakes, we can realize something important. We often ask and students answer in class. However, I often give reviewing lessons that students ask questions. For example, it is a lesson to review Unit1. We often ask a sentence pattern and students answer or I speak out a fraze, students give its meaning or I give them a fraze and students make sentences. However, one day, I think that why not give the opportunity to students? So I ask students to imitate me to ask questions. To my surprise, they can think out many questions that I can't think out. This creates their activity. Sometimes I answer their question, too. But my main role in this lesson is lesteing to them attentively and movitating them a lot. I conclude that if we can give children more space and opportunitities, they can learn faster and better when they are happy and relaxed, when they're given the opportunities to act out what they're able to say or sing. In this way, they gradually develop interest and build up their confidence in learning. So to be a good listener is a role in class, too. We should believe children, give them opportunuties and they can act very well.英语教师口语表达材料 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------I learn a lot from my studentsLast year, I was a headteacher of Grade 3. One day I had a class meeting lesson about manners. I ask them if there are two pears for you and your brother, one is big, the other is small, which one will you choose. One student told me that he will choose the big one. I was very surprised. And he told me that everyone wouled like to choose the big one. If someones chooses the small one, he's foolish. However, if my brother asked me to give the big one to my brother, I will not hesitate to do it. Otherwise, if my mother asks me and my brother to have a competition to eat the pear, I'll choose the big one, too. I feel very surprised for his frank. I learn their clean and pure character. However, as adults,we can't do it as children. We can't say very freely and should hide some ideas that are not welcomed. So to be a honest man is that I learn from my students.Sometimes our students can give us some rich thoughts. One day after class, a student tole me, Miss Yao, you pay much attention to the poor students, we have understood some important points, but you repeat it again and again. We're boring of it. Can you add us some other useful knowledge when they're practicing? Immediately I feel that I make a mistake that I pay much a

ttention to poor students but negelect good students, and their development. On another day, when I we're having a listening class, I use a tape. A student stood up and said, Miss Yao, why not use earphones to listen to tehe text. We should make use of the earphones. Otherwise, it benefits our listening ability. This student points out my mistake by his heart and didn't hind his ideas. I admire the students' keeping white. So now I put a box on the teacher's desk. The students can write down their ideas on a piece of paper and put it into the box. I can read many messages about their ideas to me, to my lessons. As teachers, it seems that we'll full of knowledge, but is it true? One day, my students are having a competition about science. I was invited to take part in their competition. One student asked, how long do cats and mice live? Yhe host asked me to answer. I was puzzled about it and have no answer. Suddenly, another student told me the answer quietyly and quickly. It did a great help for me. But from that time, I learn that students are full of knowledge, too. They know many knowledge that we don't know. As teachers, if we don't learn every day to enrich ourselves, we will not be an excellent teacher to teach children. The students' knowledge is wide. I think it depends on their curiosity to our life. They're naturally curious and active. They are full of enthusiam and show a lot of eagerness to participate. If children are happy, feel secure and in a threat-free environment, they're more likely to enjoy learning. But as teachers, we're busy every day, can we keep on learning at night or concentrate on the books we're reading. So our students are full of enthusiam and great hope. If we think them as a doctor, they are like green. They're like the sun at nine in the morning. If we stay with them, we can feel their activity. You know many students like English very much. I think because in English class, teachers often provide them many activities, group learning, playing games, competition, action, singing and so on. They're active, creative. They like to act and play games. And they need the opportunity to exercise their imaginations and creativity. But as teachers, can we afraid of making mistakes and losing dignity? So I learn from students that we should be brave to do everything.Interest is the mother of learning. So our students learn English and some other subjects very well. Because they're happy to do it. They will learn faster if they are very happy. However, can we do like this? Adults have clear personal goals and objectives for learning, eg. finding a good job, going abroad, making more money, talking to foreigners. For children, a foreign language is simply another school subject they have to do in school. Children do things that interest them and make them feel good abour themselves. And gradually they become confident and easy and enjoyable to learn. These are the aspects that adults are different f

rom our students. As a teacher, I'm lucky. I'm with them every day and I can learn a lot from my students. Thanks for the children.英语教师口语表达材料 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------Teaching is learningAs far as primary school language teaching is concerned, we believe that the goals and objectives should focus on the following:to develop pupils' language sense and enable the acquisition of good pronunciation and intonation.to cultivate the pupils' preliminary ability to use English in daily exchange and to lay a good basic for study. From the above dicussions we can see that the overall objectives described in the new curricululm indicate a changd in the understanding of the nature of English education. It changed from a focus of teaching the vocabulary, structures and skills of a language to edecating children and developing their all-round qualities for life long learning. So it depends that teachers should learn a lot in this situation.First, we should understand goals and objectives for primary school English teaching. By offering a foreign language at school, we're aiming to educate "the whole child" rather than only teach them the language. Therefore, the first priority for teaching English at the primary school is to cultivate their interest in learning, motivate them to work hard, help them establish good learning habits and develop useful learning strategies so that they are ready to continue with their learning when they move into secondary school. So it is necessary for us to learn goals and objectives for primary school English teaching.Second, as far as English is concerned in Primary School, with the development of English teaching, we should teach every lesson hard and write down the good points and bad points in the lesson. Maybe I write a title, just some sentences, I make up them every week. It's good for my teaching. From it, I learn what's the advantage and disvantage of the lesson. So teaching is committed with learning.Third, although I'm a teacher, it's impossible that I have every lesson very well. For example, last year it was the first year that I taught Grade 3. When I have an open class of Unit5, plus and minus. I didn't know how to write the teaching plan. So I surfed the Internet, looked at my teaching plans on books and asked experienced teachers. I prepared this lesson for about three weeks. So I kept learning in these three weeks. When I had the first try to teach this lesson, I can find some problems. Then I asked for experienced teachers and concluded by myself. I taught this lesson for about 5 times. I thought about this lesson again and again and I can summarize some methods of teaching. From this period, I found I had made much progress in teaching and writing teaching plans.Fourth, we're around our students every day. So we can be infalened by them. For exampl

e, their interest of learning and life. Interest if the mother of learning. Students are very interested in learning English. They like the activities in English class. So as teachers, we should learn this character of them. Adults have clear personal goals and objectives for learning, eg, finding a good job, going abroad, making more money, talking to foreigners. However, children do things that interest them and make them good about themselves. They will learn faster if they are very happy. However, can we do like this?Fifth, it seems that teacher is like actor. We should sing or act, good at telling stories and acting out in dramas, even at drawing and dancing. With those capabilities, we certainly will add to our strength as a primary school teacher. So I often spend time to practice them and try to be an excellent teacher. In addition to using above capabilities, we should find a way to develop our strength, personality, experience and beliefs in teaching our children. Now the competition of our society is becoming tense. As teachers, we should be strict to ourselves and when we're teaching, we should learn much, too.
