Why is one such a bad number? It is because when the date has th is number in it, some bad thing always happens. Let me give you some examples. there midnight in Taiwan. the earthquake was very horrible. That night, there were about three thousand people that died in that accident. Many houses collapsed and the mountains moved.

America was attacked by terror is ts on September 11 th is year. the terror is ts crashed into America’s pentagon with an airplane. the terror is ts used airplanes to hit many tall buildings in America. there were bombs inside the buildings. When the airplanes hit the tall buildings, the tall buildings and the airplanes exploded. About six thousand people died. How terrible that is ! I think the terror is ts were crazy. People say that the American emergency number is 911, so the terror is ts chose September 11 to attack America. there was a big typhoon on July 11 th is year in Taiwan. It’s name was Toraji. Many cities were flooded. Some people died because of landslides. these dates all th is "one" number. I really don’t think "one" is a good or lucky number. So we have to be careful on dates with th is number

Class: 13- 2 Name: Will Chow Student No.: 134xxxxxxxx Journal No.:02 The Second Week

This is the second week I study and live at NBUT. I gradually adapted to the college life and learning. My college life is different from my imagination before I went to here. Previously, I think at university, students have more time to do what want to, such as playing video games, doing some sports and so on. But the fact is that we have many courses and almost everyday we have full classes. What’s worse, our courses are taught in English which puzzled me a lot.

This week, I have taken part in the Badminton team race, I like playing badminton very much but I can’t play it very well so I didn’t enter the badminton team. But I will always like playing badminton.

Yesterday, we went to West Campus to take part in the sports meeting. My event was javelin throwing, many athletes have never trained in this event including me, so most of us couldn’t get grades. So we think we were just gone there to get some sauce……

通过在职的一个多月里，我深感自己的不足，我会在以后的工作学习中更加努力，取长补短，需心求教，并写下了这篇实习周记。相信自己会在以后的工作中更加得心应手，表现更加出色!不管是在什么地方任职，都会努力! 我是一名商务英语专业的学生。在即将毕业的这几个月里，我主要负责的工作内容是办公室文秘。在这一过程中，我采用了看、问、学等方式，初步了解了公司文秘工作中的具体业务知识，拓展了所学的专业知识，希望我的这篇商务英语文员实习周记可以给大家作为参考范例。

为以后正常工作的展开奠定了坚实的基础，从个人发展方面说，对我影响最大的应该是作为一个社会人工作作风以及在工作过程中专业知识对工作的重要作用，因为这些都是我在校学习中不曾接触过的方面，所以我将在报告中首先讲述我在实习期间积累的这方面的认识和经验。

毕业实习是每个大学生必须拥有的一段经历，它使我们在实践中了解社会，让我们学到了很多在课堂上根本就学不到的知识，受益匪浅，也打开了视野，增长了见识，为我们以后进一步走向社会打下坚实的基础。

由于我所在的公司是北京驻乌的一个办事处，是一家私企，所以我刚开始的工作并不忙，没有感觉到很累。只是每天都要守在电话和传真机旁。很耗时间，第一天就因为坐了一天腰酸背痛的。但是过了几天就稍有点习惯了，每天向我同一个办公室的女孩学习一些办公知识。刚步入工作岗位，才发现自己有很多都不懂的。

现在在办公室，有闲的时候就会看一些会计方面的书，虽然自己所学的专业在此时没有派上什么用场，但我觉得应该多学点，有几个技能在以后找工作也可以给自己我几个选择。我现在上班近两个月了，在这短短一个多朋中，曾有几次想过干完一个月不干了。

也许我是刚开始工作，有时受不了经理给的“气”， 自己心里很不舒服，就想辞职再重新换个工作得了。但静下心来仔细想想，再换个工作也是的，在别人手底下工作不都是这样么?刚开始。

一、日记的格式

英文日记通常由书端和正文两个部分组成。日记常以第一人称记下当天生活中的所见、所闻、所做或所想的事情。中、英文的日记三格式大致一样。英语日记的书端是专门写日记的日期、星期和天气的。左上角是日期（年、月、日）、星期。右上角写上当天的天气情况，如：Sunny，Fine，Rainy，Windy，Snowy，Cloudy等。

1、日期表达有多种形式。年、月、日都写时，通常以月、日、年为顺序，月份可以缩写，日和年用逗号隔开。例如：

A）September 1，2011或September 1st，2011

也可省略写成Sept. 1，2011或Sept. 1st，2011；

the 1st of September in 2011（月份不可以缩写）

以上的1或1st都应读作the first.

2、星期也可以省略不写，可将其放在日期前或后，星期和日期之间不用标点，但要空一格，星期也可缩写。如：

Saturday，October 22nd，2004；

October 22nd，2004 Saturday

3.天气情况必不可少。天气一般用一个形容词如：Sunny，Fine，Rainy，Snowy 等表示。写在日期之后，用逗号隔开，位于日记的右上角。如：

Saturday，March 4，2004，Windy；

二、日记的要求

日记的正文是日记的主要部分，写在星期和日期的正下方，可以顶格写，也可以内缩3至5个字母的空间。由于记载的内容通常已经发生，谓语动词多用一般过去时。但也可根据具体情况，用其它时态。如：记叙天气、描写景色，为了描写生动，可以使用现在时，以表现当时的情景。再如文后发表感想或评论可用现在时态或将来时态。记日记力求简单明了，有连贯性。若有文字提示，则应重视提示，把握要点。在句式上尽量使用简单句，以防繁杂，造成语法、句型错误。

通过写周记提高中学生的英语写作能力

在目前的英语教学中, 英语写作是学生相对薄弱的一个环节, 而且很多学生惧怕写作。学生在英语写作中主要存在无话可写、用汉语思维方式写作、语法错误百出等问题。本人认为此种现象出现的主要原因是：中学英语教学严重忽视写作训练。为了提高学生的英语写作水平，我觉得让学生写英语周记是很有效的方法。

高中学生已有一定的基础知识，这时完全可以让学生自己写点东西，培养学生的写作能力。学生通过写周记，可以复习旧知识；通过老师批改周记，学生订正错误，无疑学生在语法方面会有很大的进步。学生写周记的过程中，必然会遇到生词、生句，学生就会问同学、问老师、“问”词典。学生对自己所想要表达的单词、句子印象会特别深，日积月累，学生的词汇量就大大增加了。学生写周记----教师批改周记----学生看批语过程是师生间进行思想和情感交流的过程，周记里学生会告诉老师他的喜悦、他的烦恼，这样师生间的距离拉近了，感情加深了，学生对老师有了深厚的感情，自然就乐于学英语。

根据我的做法，我觉得要让学生写好周记，作为老师，应该注意以下几点：

一、 让学生养成用英文写周记的习惯。

写作难首先难在无话可说，“问渠哪得清如许，为有源头活水来”。教师应该鼓励学生积极地去感悟生活，用心体验和感悟身边的人和事，然后将体验和感受用英语表达出来。写周记贵在坚持，要养成习惯，切忌三天打鱼两天晒网。开头可能会很艰难，教师应该要求学生用周末的空闲来完成一篇英语作文，内容可以不限，题材不限。有的学生实在不会写，可以让他们去抄一篇自己认为比较好的范文，学习别人如何写作。同时教师可以放低要求，只要学生用心去写了，就给与肯定，最大限度的调动学生的积极性，只要学生坚持下去，就会慢慢“上手”，感觉越来越容易，兴趣就会越来越高，效果也就越来越明显。

Class: 13- 2 Name: Will Chow Student No.: 134xxxxxxxx Journal No.:01 First Week Study At NBUT

This is the first week I study at university. Last month, we have pulled through our military training, which has strengthened our will and body.

As a freshman, I feel strange when I first came here. Luckily, I made many friends after ranged my self. My first friend here is Liang Yucong, we are roommates. Liang is a friendly person, we always help each other, and he’s so kind and never loses his temple. My second friend here is Zhang Renqiang, he’s also a kind man and he can play basketball very well. As friends, we always eat together and play together. Friend is an important part of my life.

The first class is Sino-US Comparative Education and Culture, our dean Tony teaches us this lesson. Tony is an amiable one, he likes we calling him Tony rather than Dean Nie. Our English Listening and Speaking is taught by foreign teacher Mr. Mills, Mr. Mills is a good teacher although we can’t understand what he says sometimes. The teacher of English reading has big smile which impress me a lot.
