Advertisements are forcing their way into people’s lives. People refer to advertisements in their daily lives because they are consumers. 试论广告与作文教学的关系

内容提要: 广告是市场经济的产物。当今时代,你走出去,大街小巷到处是广告;你只要打开电视机,任何时候都可以看到电视广告。我们这个时代,广告无处不在,无时没有,它简直到了无孔不入的地步,它充斥着生活的方方面面。我们现在的这些学生是看着电视广告长大的一代,他们熟悉广告,也喜欢广告。笔者在语文教学中,就利用这一点,投其所好,让学生广泛收集和评议广告语,鼓励学生设计和创作广告语,把枯燥的作文教学与生动的广告艺术结合起来,收到了较好的作文教学效果。

广告是一门艺术,一则好的广告就是一件艺术品,是一幅画, 是一首诗。广告要研究市场,研究消费者,讲究艺术性;而教学同样也要研究教材,研究学生,讲究艺术性。广告与教学有异曲同工之妙。因此,在语文教学,特别是在作文教学中,笔者常常将广告引入课堂,利用广告为教学服务。

一、 布置学生广泛收集评议广告语

现行中等职业学校高教版《语文》第一册,应用文部分 1

有一课《启事 广告》,结合对这部分的教学,笔者要求学生每人收集20则广告语,从中选出自己最喜欢的五则。学生收集广告语很积极,有些学生当堂就能说出二十多则,有些学生课后收集了上百则。笔者把经过筛选的广告语汇总起来,举行小型展览,同学们自觉地评议广告语的优劣。在此基础上,笔者选择了有代表性的两则广告语,让学生写成议论文。这两则广告语都是写商场的:“何必东奔西走,满意就在大楼。”“货比三家不上当,回头购物到商场。”两则广告语集中在一个“比”字上,顾客购物是要“比”,还是不要“比”,学生作文中普遍认为要“比”,因而大家欢迎后一则。有学生在作文中写道:

因为现在虚假广告较多,商家为了促销产品,言过其实,很多广告太夸张,甚至带有欺诈性质。假若我们大家购物时不“东奔西走”“货比三家”,万一在价格上、在质量上、在售后服务上上了当受了骗,那么购物还会“满意”在大楼吗?
