Happiness”

Recently, I have read a book named The Pursuit of Happiness. May be you have already seen the movie. But as for the spirit which can only described by the words, I have made a choice which is reading the book by myself. It?s a very famous story and many people are moved by this story. When I close my eyes and think about my real world. Is there any trouble that I can?t deal with exist? No, of cause not. Think about Chris Gardner, the hero of this book. How difficult the situation is when he gets no job, no money?

Chris hasn?t seen his father until the age of 28. So he swears that he must be a great father for his son ----Christopher. But thinking about his career and the badly-off current. He has to lead his kid hang out every hospital to sell the bone scanners for money. Accidentally, he knows that act as a bill broker merely calls for knowledge of numbers. So he tried to find a manager in this field who named Jay twistie. With the help of persistence, interesting words and a Rubik?s cube, he acquires a chance of being an intern in Jay?s company. But there is only one person from six interns can be hired after six months? non-wage work. It?s too difficult for Chris. At this moment, Chris? wife leaves them two and move to New York. In the cause of no enough money, Chris and his son lose their house. They even live in the public washroom. Everything comes to him who waits. Finally, Chris wins the job and creates his own company. Yes, he makes it!

The practical significance about The pursuit of happiness

Through one-week English videos training, I have learnt a lot. Today I will show the practical significance about the pursuit of happiness.

As we know that the film is about a father who wants to be an investment expert, and how can he be an investment expert. The way to be an investment expert is not easy, but at last the hero succeeded in making his dream true.

The film tells us that the process to get the happiness is difficult, and let me know we should treasure it.

“You have a dream, you got to protect it!” the hero said to his son.From this word, I learn that one person who has a dream must live for his dream. If we can?t insist on the dream, the dream just is a day-dream, and we have no energy to life well. The word tells us that no matter how the difficulty is big, we just need to see the achievement after the difficulty, no difficulty is difficult. Like the word from Li Ning ?anything is possible?.

A review of the Pursuit of Happiness

“The Pursuit of Happyness” was released on the 15th of December 2006. It is a dramatic story based on a biography of Chris Gardner’s nearly one-year struggle with homelessness. Directed by Gabrielle Muccino, the film stars Will Smith as Chris Gardner, and co-stars Jaden Smith playing Chris’ son, Christopher Jr. For Will Smith’s performance in the film, he was nominated for an Academy Award and a Golden Globe for Best Actor. The ‘different’ spelling of the title, ‘Happyness’ is seen by Chris Gardner on the building outside the play centre is son attends, which Chris reminds the owners of the building multiple times that it is spelt with an ‘I’.

The film shows us the struggles Chris Gardner has with homelessness. He is bankrupt because he invested his life savings in portable bone-density scanners, which he thought hospitals would be interested in buying, but in the end hardly any doctors wanted one, as they considered it an ‘expensive luxury’. During the struggles, his wife Linda leaves to go to New York and Chris and his son are left in San Francisco with no income and living in a motel. Chris sees interest in become a stockbroker, but to become one he has to go through an internship. Meanwhile, Chris and his son are evicted because they can’t pay rent, and they are forced to go to a homeless shelter, and even one night had to sleep in the bathroom of the underground rail system. During his internship, he never once mentions his financial struggles and at one point he is asked to give one of his bosses 5 dollars for a cab, a sum that he can’t afford. After an intense six months, Chris is taken into the bosses’ office, and is offered a job as a stockbroker, the final scene shows him being in unbelief of the position he was offered and showing his happiness and gratefulness for the opportunity, Chris realises that his financial struggles are over as he now has a job with a regular income.

幸福的定义，对于每一个人都有不同的答案。每个人都有属于他自己的幸福感受。有些人需要的幸福很深刻，有些人一个细小细节也可以成为打动心灵的幸福。幸福来自内心的感受，不管深刻还是浅显都是内心的一份独白感受。

对于一个纵横沙场的将军，胜利对他而言便是最大的幸福；对于施行仁道的儒家学者，与民同乐便是他们的幸福；对于忘我探索的科学家，取得成功便是一种幸福；对于日夜构思的作家，出版作品便是一种幸福。对于来往于市井的人群，生活康泰就是幸福。对于幸福的诠释，不同的时代，不同的历史条件，甚至于不同的人，有着炯然不同的体会。

电影《当幸福来敲门》里讲述克里斯·加德纳和自己的儿子艰辛打拼的过程，他梦想成为一名投资专家。妻子在他凄寒潦倒时离开了他。带着梦想的执着，他开始带着儿子过流浪的生活。艰苦中不断坚持的他，终于由一个落魄业务员成为了正式的经济师。当他触及成功的那一刻，满脸的辛酸泪水是幸福的阐释。即便生活不富裕，物质达不到要求。在追逐梦想的过程中，每一个和儿子一起过的艰难日子都是简单的小幸福。幸福并不建立在金钱上。就如现代社会，拜金主义者为获利益拼得神疲力尽，最终就算获得了最终的物质要求也不见得就是很美满的幸福。其实幸福有时真的很简单，苦中作乐应该就是幸福中很高的一个境界吧？别人在追求物质上的幸福时，追求精神幸福的人要比追求物质幸福的人要真正幸福得很多。

即便经常无家可归，流落外头，克里斯·加德纳和儿子总是互相勉励，用幽默驱赶凄寒，只要心里充满希望，每一天都是美好的一天。他说过：“我生活的这一部分叫做冒傻气”，容易有幸福满足感的人都是冒着傻气的人，很简单，很幸福。

“你有梦想的话你就得去捍卫它。”他在球场上对儿子说，“别让别人告诉你你成不了才，即使是我也不行。”他鼓励着儿子去坚持和坚信梦想。之所以在贫困挣扎边缘如此执着坚持梦想，儿子是他最大的动力。其实，幸福也是可以和相爱的人一起打拼，再艰辛也值得。

The reaction to the film<<The pursuit of happiness>>

All civilized men believe that one of the rights of man is to pursue happiness.Lewis,however,argues that we have “no right to pursue happiness at the expense of honesty,loyalty or common humanity.

There is an movie which can express my opinion about the pursuit of happiness.

This film is about a poor father called Christ Gardner.He met his father at 26.He wanted to change the situation of the family.He bought 50 bone scanners ,he wanted to sale these by 240 dollars to make a change.But he failed.Most of the doctors think it as a useless and expensive machine .Because of that ,Christ had to find out other ways to make it. With the help of a magic cube ,he succeeded getting a chance to practice in Dean Witter,he want to be a stockbroker,because he meet a person who own a wonderful car,he ask him how to make it ,and he got the answer that he was a stockbroker.But there are 20 person attending this practice.But at last ,only one person will be hired.And to make matters worse,during the 6 months of the practice,there are no salary.This is the difficult time for Christ and his son ,for his wife left him and went to New York,and the money they selled the scanners was taken by government because they didn’t pay the tax,of course they did not go any warn before.During that time ,they cannot live in the flat where the keeper is always asking them for the money.Every day ,he had to be hurried to catch the bus to Glade,a church where they could live without paying money.In order to get there on time ,the favourite toy his son owned couldn’t be pick up from the ground when the bus came.And one day ,they failed to catch the bus ,they even lived in a toilet.When some one want to get in ,Christ locked the door.And at that time ,he cried.After the most difficult time ,the spring for him is coming.He was hired.He was so exciting that he cannot hold his notebook.He went to he street ,said:this part ,this little part ,is called happiness.Compared with the word he said at the beginning ,he wondered, They all looked “happy,” “Why not me?.At last ,he succeeded by his hard working.

----after watching“ Pursuit of Happyness”

I finish watch this movie with a heavy heart. To be frank, "The

Pursuit of Happyness" is a simple inspirational movie. There is not pretty actors, no fancy pictures, no touching music…But it can also attract you deeply. Many scattered fragments of the movie again and again flashed in my mind.I think I am touched by the movie.

This film is about a poor father called Christ Gardner. Every day, Christ had to work hard from morning till night, but still could hardly make a living. He bought 50 bone scanners and wanted to sale these to make a change.But he failed, his wife left ,leaving him their five-year-old son, Christopher. With the failure of his business, Christ had no money to pay for the rent, so they were driven away from the flat. They slept in asylum, subway station ,public bathroom or anywhere as a temporary shelter. The destitution of life was absolutely depressing, but Christ never gave up and he still strongly believed that happiness would come one day if he worked hard enough today. With his great efforts, Christ won a six-month internship at Dean Witter, but there was no pay at all. So Christ had to work hard to make a living. However, Finally, Christ made it with his amazing willpower
