Hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things and no good thing ever dies!

I can’t agree with it any more. In the film, the walls of the prison can bind people’s freedom. But they can not deprive people’s hope. The hero, Andy, never abandons the desire for freedom, and he keeps up working for his hope. Every night andy uses the little hammer to dig the wall that in others’ opinion, it will takes hundreds of years to dig through. He makes all preparations for leaving the prison. So he succeeds, and regains the precious freedom. It is hope that helps Andy get through painful prison life and regain the freedom.At the same time, hope saves his friend’s life too. Therefore, in real life, no matter how difficult the situation is, we shouldn’t give up our hope. We should stick to work hard for the hope. In this way our life will not lose its significance.

《肖申克的救赎》观后感

这是我第二次看这部电影。其实在很早之前我都一直想看它，但是碍于各种原因一直没机会，后来终于有机会了，但却没留下任何印象。而这一次，又完全是偶然，但是却给了我不少感触，收获颇多，觉得这是一部值得再看的电影。

我看过不少写狱中生活的电影，包括《越狱》，它们所反映的狱中生活都是恐怖的代名词。这部电影也不然。但是，它除了描述邪恶之外，更多的是人的希望，激发人积极向上的思想。

无辜的银行家安迪入狱，开始时努力适应新环境，但并不和别人打交道，但是两个月后还是开始和别人打起了交道，并和瑞德等人成为好朋友，狱中生活虽然很艰苦，但是其中不乏温馨的场面，譬如，瑞德他们一群人在夕阳的余晖下享受安迪的啤酒，享受心灵上的自由......

虽然安迪在狱中也受了不少苦，但是他从未自暴自弃。

让我很有感触的还有老布，他是监狱中看管图书馆的，也是一名罪犯，在狱中呆了大半辈子，最终获假释时却不想出去。瑞德分析他是制度化了，在狱中他是有地位的，但是出去后他什么都干不了，更何况双手又有关节炎。所以，出狱后不久，老布便自杀了，我想也许死于他才是真正的一种自由。

其实，电影着重向人们传递一种生活的态度，一种永远心存希望的人生态度。可以说，被判无期徒刑的安迪甚至于鲨堡狱中所有的有罪的无罪的罪犯，他们的生活几乎是没有希望了，但是电影通过安迪这一任务，他的所作所为，像我们展示了希望的力量。

安迪在狱中写了六年的信，终于得到了200元的资助和一些别人捐的旧书，这是安迪的狱中图书馆的开始，后来他又坚持写信，又获得了另一笔500元的图书馆资助，后来他的图书馆越办越好，他还组织别人考学历，帮助汤米从ABC开始学习。

但是，他却从一开始就在为逃狱做准备，所以到最后，我们不得不佩服他的智慧，开始觉得他为典狱长洗钱是一种交易，自己可以好过些的交易，但是后来才知道，他在为以后做准备。

可以说，这部影片真的很精彩，他向我们展示了知识的力量和希望的力量。对于生活的态度更应该是积极的，就像安迪所说，就是因为在牢中，所以有些东西才有意义，因为他们可以告诉自已有些东西是石墙关不住的，有些东西是别人管不住的，那就是希望......所以，他重拾自己的爱好，甚至为了放几首音乐而被关禁闭两个星期。

二、《肖申克的救赎》的影评 The story may sound simple, but the truth behind the words is remarkable. When I heard the name of the film first time, I considered the Shawshank to be a man’ name, but in face it is a jail——a hell in the world. Not only for the inhumanity of the jailors——they behaved brutally; but also for the jail gnawed at people’ heart by keeping them waiting and waiting as life passed. It seemed that only those utterly worthless people who gave up everything could survive. That’s where the story happened. The part impressed me most is when Andy got out of the jai. He extended his arms in front of him in the heavy rain as if he were welcoming the fresh air and the freedom. At that moment, I saw the faith win the darkness, discharging light dazzling the eyes in the dark blue sky. Under the light, I could feel my recreant innermost being shivering as his voice said: “Remember, Hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things and no good thing ever dies!” That’s why I like this film: it encourages people to fight to preserve the dignity of human beings, to appreciate the beauty of life, and the most important is to keep hope forever. He once that is born, that is die. Everyone is the same. The only difference is whether busy living or busy dying. The film tells me even a man can live once, but if he keeps faith, keeps hope and works his life right, then once is enough. The faith is the bird that feels the light when the dawn is still dark, the hope is the chief happiness that this world affords, and the life should be full of the singing of the bird and the happiness hope brings. " What’s that do you think? It’s the trembling of the heart, the singing of the mind, the flying of the soul and the hope to be free.” 这个故事也许看似简单,但是其中的道理却是发人深思的.我第一次听到这电影的名字时,曾以为“肖申克”是个人名,但事实上它是一所监狱的名字--鲨堡.说它是人间地狱,不仅那里狱卒残暴,狱霸横行,而且它还侵蚀着人的心灵.生命在漫漫无期的等待中消逝,似乎只有那些行尸走肉般放弃了所有的人才能够活下去. 这就是故事的开始.最让我感动的是安迪逃出牢狱时候的情景.大雨滂沱之中他伸出手臂似乎在迎接新鲜空气和自由.此刻,我看见自信战胜了黑暗,其光芒照亮了深蓝天空中的眼睛.在此光辉下,我可以感觉到自己那颗怯懦的心在颤抖,似乎在说：记住,希望是好东西,也许是人间至善,而美好的东西永远不会消逝. 它激励人们为人类的尊严而斗争,为生命的美丽而感恩,最重要的是它让我们永怀希望.这就是我喜欢这部电影的原因. 有出生,就会有死亡,人人均是如此.唯一不同的是--忙着活,还是劳碌死.电影告诉我们,虽然人只能活一次,但是如果带着信心和希望好好地活,一次也就足够了.信心就像在黎明前看到曙光的鸟,而希望则是这个世界给我们的最重要的礼物,生命应该充满鸟儿的歌声和希望带来的快乐.

keep hoping

I have knownThe Shawshank Redemption for a long time .It is a famous movie.Thanks to the summer holiday, I have such a good chance to watch it. When I heard the name of the movie for the first time, I considered theShawshank to be a man’ name, but in fact it is a jail’s name——a hell in the world. Every time ,we know it i s necessary to keep hoping .However , if you were in such a hell ,would you keep hoping?

Yes ,you shoud.Andy gave you the best answer."Remember, Hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things and no good thing ever dies!"Every one got despir in the Shawshank except Andy.His best friend ,Red,told him ," These walls are kind of funny like that. First you hate them, then you get used to them. Enough time passed, get so you depend on them. That’s institutionalized."They tried too many times but they never finish it, so they gave up. Andy tried. He has the bright brain ,the never fading persistent,and the most impotant thing----hope.He put up some poster withbeauty.Then he used his wisdom and talents to help his warden and prison officer make money.To his credit,he had written letters to the government so that the prisoners could read.He brought hopes to the prisoners.He worked hard to run away.In the end ,he succeeded.

‘Brooks was here’

Brooks’s hands were shaking slightly while he was carving, with a solemn look, in a western dress and lether shoes.

It was an old man who had stayed in prison for a few decades. Once he left the cage of prison, he chose to die instead of showing any happyness. Freedm and factual society seemed prison to him, just no walls. It was much more horrible than the prison with walls. He woke up in the midnight and was awake because of fear. Nobody gave him a guidance, no group he belonged to. He really had no way to adjust the strange and totally new world. When he was packaging in the supermarket, his fear could be find in every wrinkle. He was fading hopelessly. When he was sitting on the bench in the park, the loneliness was stronger than those grids iin the prison. His only wish was if the bird with freedom will come to have a look at the lonely old man.

When we watch the film The Shawshank Redemption, most of us are deeply impressed by Andy’s personal heroism.

I think that I will always cherish the memory of the sadness and loneliness when Brooks left the prison. That was a kind of silent struggle which was ignored by a group. I think that what made the difference was the power of hope. Andy was a representitive of the power of thoughts, an altitude of tenacious self-saving, a kind of struggle consciousness more than a great man of guidance. We don’t want to see the ‘wonder’ created by the director became a swan song. When you step over what you thought it was impossible, you will posses the beauty of the bloom in prosperous during your life.

Everyone is the god of his own. If you have succumbed to yourself, then who can be your savior all through the world? This scentence is form The Shawshank Redemption.

The story began with the trial of a young banker called Andy, who was slandered by circumstantial evidence and be put into the Shawshank prison. Ellis—a prisoner who became his friend later, and many other prisoners had been in the prison for so many years that they were used to this kind of life. They even did not want to go out. They stayed just in the small prison living a boring life, it’s a despairing world where nobody knows what their dream was,where their hope was.

Though some of them tried many times, they weren’t able to succeed, so they gave up. Even so,Andy insisted. He owned the smart brain, the remorseless spirit, as well as the most important thing----hope. With these, Andy escaped the prison finally.
