This is a story about a special and unreserved woman who has been exposed to a hostile environment but continuously and fearlessly struggling for her ideal life. The story can be interpreted as a symbol of the independent spirit.

It seems to me that many readers’ English reading experience starts with Jane Eyer. I am of no exception. As we refer to the movie “Jane Eyer”, it is not surprising to find some differences because of its being filmized and retold in a new way, but the spirit of the novel remains----to be an independent person, both physically and mentally.

Jane Eyer was a born resister, whose parents went off when she was very young, and her aunt，the only relative she had，treated her as badly as a ragtag. Since Jane’s education in Lowwood Orphanage began, she didn’t get what she had been expecting——simply being regarded as a common person, just the same as any other girl around. The suffers from being humiliated and devastated teach Jane to be persevering and prize dignity over anything else.As a reward of revolting the ruthless oppression, Jane got a chance to be a tutor in Thornfield Garden. There she made the acquaintance of lovely Adele and that garden’s owner, Rochester, a man with warm heart despite a cold face outside. 傲慢与偏见英文200字读后感

I use some simple words to describe it: fresh, natural,

simple, warm. The challenges they face, on public opinion, are in our times can not be felt. The film "Pride and Prejudice" (20xx version) in a scene very good interpretation of my

thoughts. Background music is "the secret life of daydream", the sun bright and warm, everything is peaceful. Jane Austen's life want to stick to love this book as characters, but her hopes were not realized. She gives the soul of this book is her true soul.

This book is simply wonderful. The tales involved are tales of the Persian Gulf, of Bagdhad, Arabia, and tales that we as adults should revisit for some enjoyable light reading that will make us smile and wonder at the old folklore of the Arabian Peninsula. Sinbad the Sailor is in there, as is Aladdin in it's original form, and the story begins of a king who is so upset by his wife's unfaithfulness that he will now only accept virgins for one night and then have them killed. A smart virgin begins her night with the infamous king by telling him stories, and she so fascinates him and enthralls him with her tales that the tales turn into folklore for readers of the ages. I won't tell you what happens in the end to the virgin princess, but you will find humor, enchantment, wisdom and fantasy for those times when stress becomes a factor in your life. I highly recommend the tale of "The Historic Fart" as a both funny and inspiring tale of human nature. Please buy this book and remember to become a nine -12 year old again as you read with curiosity and wonder at the fabulous enchanting, lively stories. I was beginning to wish my children were a bit younger so I could read these to them. Any child would enjoy these stories, and any adult will find them simply relaxing and a reflection of medieval Islam.

Impressions after reading the Heroes

After reading the article titled with Heroes,which told us an incident that two teachers stopped a runway school bus and successfully protected students from being hurted in the end,I was shoked by characters’ intensely calm and resolution.

According to the passage,when the bus was unmaned,students screamed but teachers’ first thought was about the kids.”I turned around and said,’Guys, it’s fine,calm down.’”Moreover,when King,one of the heroes,cured and returned to school,althought had received cheers and praise,she only to say that she was not a hero but just had done the best she could.Their noble characters can never be exaggerated.

When reflect our real life,however, we only to find that what we have done is far from enough.We may sometimes be lack of loyalty to our career,and responsibility to our younger generation.Take the Fan in the Wenhuan earthquake and the accident of school bus resent year for examples.

The women in white

It is a story of greed and evil, innocence and betrayal, confused identities and cruel deceptions. It also contains love.WhenMr. Hart right and Miss Fairle were separated,they still missed each other much in their own minds and never give up this loyal love.In the end, the gained a happy ending. It reminded me of the things we once loved.Sometimes,we are eager about something,such as hobbies and dreams.We think we can keep it eternally in our mind but if always is impossible.We forget it without thinking when we put our thorough attention on others,such as study or career. At last,we lose too much love we once took possession of. They always are most beautiful things in our life.I do hope we can pay more attention to find and preserve this beauty.

In this novel, I especially admire Laura’s sister Marian. She is kind, calm and clever. Walter is a handsome and capable man, Marian and Laura spent 4 months learning drawing from Walter, I’m sure she loved Walter, but she was selfless and made all her efforts to help the couple be together. She isn’t a beautiful woman, but she is favored by the readers. William Wilkie Collins was an English novelist,playwright, and author of short stories. I read the Chinese version of “Camille” a few years ago. At that time I was deeply moved by the main character Marguerite Gautier. “Camille” or “The Lady of the Camellias” by Alexandre Dumas, fils, is the story of Marguerite Gautier, a young courtesan, or kept woman, in Paris in the mid 1800's, and how she falls in love with a young man, Armand Duval, and then tries to escape from her questionable past. Unfortunately, it comes back to haunt her and she ends up returning to that life and dies painfully and alone, but with the knowledge that she was a noble woman at heart. When I first began to read the book, I did not care for Marguerite or her attitude or lifestyle, but as I got further into the narrative, I realized that her saucy attitude was a front to cover the lonely woman that she really was. She felt used, abused and unloved, until the gentle Armand Duval came into her life and showed her that he loved her as a person and not for what she could do for him. It must have taken great courage for Marguerite to leave the life she had lived for so long, knowing all along that it was probably too good to be true and would not last indefinitely. And it also showed that Marguerite really loved Armand Duval for she could even change herself for him.

I read a novel named “the old man and the sea” written by a famous writer Ernest Hemingway. After reading it, I very admire the will of the protagonist of the novel an old fisherman, he let me know that the key to a person’ success is persistence. The novel described an old fisherman who was nearly sixty years old, he caught a big fish in a time when he went fishing in the sea by himself, but he couldn’t pull the big fish up. After he worked with the fish for a few days, he found that the fish was several times bigger than his fishing boat. Although knowing is hard to win the big fish, he didn’t give up. Then a few groups of sharks attracted by the smell of the big fish’s wound, but the old fisherman still didn’t want to give up. Finally he succeeded and took big fish back to the fishing port. After seeing this, the other fishermen all admired the old fisherman.
