篇三 :鲁滨孙漂流记读后感 英文

On surviving on an isolated island

I have read Robinson Crusoe as well as seen its film version several times. Whenever I finished it, a question always lingers in my mind: if I were the hero, what should I do to survive myself on that isolated island? According to my supposition, there are two rigorous enemies I must defeat if I want to keep alive: one is nature; the other is myself.

The first step to struggle for survival is to feed and shelter myself. Then the obstruction I encountered with was from nature. Fortunately, there were amounts of resources on this desert island which I can take advantage of, such as woods, fish, leaves, even rainwater. I’m sure those materials can support me for quite a while.

The next one, the most fatal rival, I think, is myself. To live normal or quiet, I must fight with my inside fear, loneliness, hopelessness and desperation. Without food, man can live; without will, man would die. Seeing thousands of lives dying of suicide but starvation, I realize the mortal power inside. Based on this knowledge, I should build up my morale to breathe. There is always hope as long as I see the sun.

After 23 years he meets with a group of cannibals and rescues one of their prisoners, a young native whome he calls Friday. Crusoe and his“man”Friday become close friends, and when they are finally rescued four years later, both return to England.

This novel is famous for its lovely details and its expression of belief in man's ability when left alone in nature.

篇五 :鲁滨孙漂流记英文读后感

Be optimistic in the life

—Some thoughts after reading ROBINSON CRUSOE This is the second time I read this novel,ROBINSON CRUSOE,and I think the plot of this novel is very marvellous. This novel was writen by Daniel Defoe,a very famous writer in the Europe, and in this novel,a man whose name is Robinson Kreutznaer(or Robinson Crusoe) was eager to go sailing when he was a child, so regardless of the objection from his family,he began to travel around the world, but unfortunately, the ship had an accident at sea, finally,he came to a deserted island and after overcoming many difficulties,he survived. Later he save his servent Friday and after 28 years,he sucessfully returned to England.

After reading ROBINSON CRUSOE,I am amazed and impressed by Robbinson's optimistic attitude towards life.If he was pessimistic, when he alone come to a desolate island,I guess he can't surveved, not to mention that he can come back to England.Sometimes,I visualize if we face the same probl- em,what will happen on us?Are we enough optimistic like Robbinson? Can we solve all problems, such as no foods,no friends,no security? In my opinion, the answer is negative. I guess most of us are worried and don't know how to do in this situation.

After reading Robinson Crusoe, I am shocked at it, and I really admire Robinson.

I admire his spirit of not retreating when being in trouble. He lived in an uninhabited island for about 26 years and encountered many difficulties which are beyond our imagination. He survives on his perseverance and faith; what's more, he created the new life. His spirit is worth learning, which is that we can't surpass.

I still more admire his ability of bearing loneliness. From my point of view, all of us are survive in the society without families and friends. If I were Robinson, I should rely on myself to survive but I couldn't bear the isolated life. Now we may not aware how important the emotion is. However, if we encounter that condition like Robinson's, we may know that we are not individuals, and we can't live alone in the world. Kinship, friendship and love are indispensable in our life, and they are priceless treasure which are worth maintaining by our life.
