After reading Robinson Crusoe, I am shocked at it, and I really admire Robinson.

I admire his spirit of not retreating when being in trouble. He lived in an uninhabited island for about 26 years and encountered many difficulties which are beyond our imagination. He survives on his perseverance and faith; what's more, he created the new life. His spirit is worth learning, which is that we can't surpass.

I still more admire his ability of bearing loneliness. From my point of view, all of us are survive in the society without families and friends. If I were Robinson, I should rely on myself to survive but I couldn't bear the isolated life. Now we may not aware how important the emotion is. However, if we encounter that condition like Robinson's, we may know that we are not individuals, and we can't live alone in the world. Kinship, friendship and love are indispensable in our life, and they are priceless treasure which are worth maintaining by our life.

篇六 :鲁滨逊漂流记读后感英文版

84 My thoughts about Robinson Crusoe

When I study at a primary school, I read Robinson Course first time. And I have to say, I was deeply attracted by the adventure story at that time.

Generally speaking, Robinson is a person who is very brave, forceful and aggressive.

Crusoe sets sail from the Queen's Dock in Hull on a sea voyage in August 1651, against the wishes of his parents, who wants him to pursue a career, possibly in law. After a tumultuous journey where his ship is wrecked in a storm, his lust for the sea remains so strong that he sets out to sea again. This journey, too, ends in disaster as the ship is taken over by sale pirates and Crusoe is enslaved by a Moor. Two years later, he escapes in a boat with a boy named Xury; a Captain of a Portuguese ship off the west coast of Africa rescues him. The ship is en route to Brazil. Crusoe sells Xury to the captain. With the captain's help, Crusoe procures a plantation. In my opinion, Robin is the true prototype of the British colonist. The whole Anglo-Saxon spirit in Crusoe: the manly independence, the unconscious cruelty, the persistence, the slow yet efficient intelligence, the sexual apathy, the calculating taciturnity. This is achieved through the use of European technology, agriculture and even a rudimentary political hierarchy. Several times in the novel Crusoe refer to himself as the 'king' of the island, whilst the captain describes him as the 'governor' to the mutineers. At the very end of the novel the island is explicitly referred to as a 'colony'. The idealized master-servant relationship Defoe depicts between Crusoe and Friday can also be seen in terms of cultural imperialism. Crusoe represents the 'enlightened' European whilst Friday is the 'savage' who can only be redeemed from his barbarous way of life through assimilation into Crusoe's culture. Nonetheless Defoe also takes the opportunity to criticize the historic Spanish conquest of South America.

篇七 :《鲁宾逊漂流记》读后感——英文版

LIFE’S MIRACLE

I have thought life would be boring and nothing interesting. And sometimes, life is very fragile. But after I read Robinson Crusoe, I changed my mind. And what’s better, I find my life became more and more meaningful.

I remember when I was just a little boy; my parents can satisfy me anything I want. And then, I became pride and selfish. Some years later, I was a teenager; I often did something that was wrong. Playing games with ceil phone, for an example

My parents told me a lot of stories, and list some examples, but every word they told can’t run into my ears, and I insisted that I was just doing something that let me feel relaxed. “It is nothing different, what’s matter about that, I am happy.” I said to my parents, and then I ran away from my house. That was a cold winter, and I was very hungry. I tried to make some money so that I can continue to play video games. But nothing went as I thought; I stood by the corner of a little cloths store. My parents found me, they hugged me, we all cried at the street at that night.

篇八 :鲁宾逊漂流记 读后感 英语版

Robinson Crusoe is a youth of about eighteen years old who resides in Hull, England. Although his father wishes him to become a lawyer, Crusoe dreams of going on sea voyages. He disregards the fact that his two older brothers are gone because of their need for adventure. His father cautions that a middle-class existence is the most stable. Robinson ignores him. When his parents refuse to let him take at least one journey, he runs away with a friend and secures free passage to London. Misfortune begins immediately, in the form of rough weather. The ship is forced to land at Yarmouth. When Crusoe's friend learns the circumstances under which he left his family, he becomes angry and tells him that he should have never come to the sea. They part, and Crusoe makes his way to London via land. He thinks briefly about going home, but cannot stand to be humiliated. He manages to find another voyage headed to Guiana. Once there, he wants to become a trader. On the way, the ship is attacked by Turkish pirates, who bring the crew and passengers into the Moorish port of Sallee. Robinson is made a slave. For two years he plans an escape. An opportunity is presented when he is sent out with two Moorish youths to go fishing. Crusoe throws one overboard, and tells the other one, called Xury, that he may stay if he is faithful. They anchor on what appears to be uninhabited land. Soon they see that black people live there. These natives are very friendly to Crusoe and Xury. At one point, the two see a Portuguese ship in the distance. They manage to paddle after it and get the attention of those on board. The captain is kind and says he will take them aboard for free and bring them to Brazil.
