My Ideas about Hamlet

On the whole, I think the entire story is trace how hamlet grow, that is to say the original role of hamlet is a child. How I say like that? My analysis from the features of the period, teenagers to adults, is as follows.

Firstly, before his father dead, Hamlet had been living a affluent life as the prince of Denmark.On one hand he had the love of his parents, the respect of their people and countless money; on the other hand, he was studying in Wenderb university, accepting the idea about humanism. He had a beautiful girlfriend, he once had wrote to her, “Doubt thou the stars are fire; doubt that the sun doth move’doubt truth to be a liar; but never doubt I love.” He was very happy because he was in a pure environment. These situations just like a Child, a flower in the glasshouse, beatific and pure.

Hamlet, Prince of Denmark

Gertrude, queen of Denmark, married her husband’s brother Claudius just after her husband’s death in less than two month. The young prince, Hamlet, who loved and admired his father so deeply, was so sad for his father’s death and shameful for his mother’s marriage. To him, the world seemed like an empty garden, where nothing but wild plant could grow. What troubled him most was a doubt about his father’s death. Claudius declared that a poisonous snake had bitten him, but Hamlet believed that Claudius himself was the poisonous snake, that he had murdered him for his throne, and that the snake that had bitten his father did now sit on the throne.

?To be, or not to be‘ is the object of this drama, this sentence reflects the contradiction and struggle of the young prince. After struggling with his own heart, finally, the young hamlet summoned up courage and fight with his evil uncle.

Act I, scene i. On a dark winter night outside Ellsinore Castle in Denmark, an officer named Bernardo comes to relieve the watchman Francisco. Shakespeare uses a dark night as the first background to establish the dark tone. It leads people to a dim kingdom.

Act I, scene iii. The morning after Horatio and the guardsmen see the ghost; King Claudius gives a speech to his courtiers, explaining his recent marriage to Gertrude, his brother‘s widow and the mother of Prince Hamlet. Having established a dark, ghostly atmosphere in the first scene, Shakespeare devotes the second to the seemingly jovial court of the recently crowned King Claudius. If the area outside the castle is murky with the aura of dread and anxiety, the rooms inside the castle are devoted to an energetic attempt to banish that aura, as the king, the queen, and the courtiers desperately pretend that nothing is out of the ordinary. It is difficult to imagine a more convoluted family dynamic or a more out-of-balance political situation, but Claudius nevertheless preaches an ethic of balance to his courtiers, pledging to sustain and combine the sorrow he feels for the king‘s death and the joy he feels for his wedding in equal parts.

Reasons of hesitation of hamlet: the king is well-guarded and he is his dear mother’s husband. He is afraid of hurt his mother’s heart. He is a humanist before the murder happened.Therefore,he think its hateful and awful to kill another human. His melancholy and dispiritment also make him hesitated.Besides,he did not believe totally what the ghost said.

Brief process:hearing the death, oastmeet the ghost ,disguise crazily to cover his nervous and supervise what the king do. Hesitate about what the ghost said. Perform a play to validate the words from the ghost. The queen talk with hamlet, then hamlet kill 剥夺立刻 (father of hamlet’s lover), he thought he is the king hiding behind the purdah.then the queen agree to correct her faults.hamlet is popular with the people. Then he was sent to a country as an excuse to be killed.but he escaped. He is well treated by the pirates. When he came back, he found his lover was dead for her father’s death. Then the king suborn 奥菲利娅’ brother to make a duel with hamlet. Then leioutis(oufeoliya’s brother)is killed by hamlet. Hamlet also killed by the poison lain on the sword. And the queen is killed by drinking wrongly the poison prepared for hamlet. Finally hamlet killed the king.

The Report of Hamelt

Hamelt is considered to be the summit of Shakespeare’s art.As we all known, different people have different perspectives for Hamelt. After reading the great tragedy, I do have my own view .

Three times the ghost of Denmark’s dead king had stalked the battles of Elsinore Castle. On the fourth night night Horatio, Hamelt’s friend, brought the young prince to see the specter of his father, two months dead. He was sad and sorrowful for the dead king’s strange dead. Even there was something else which made him sadder. His mother, Gertrude, married Hamelt’s uncle, Claudius, only after two months of his ex-hunsband’s dead. Meanwhile Claudius became the late king of Denmark. The ghost of the dead king told Hamelt he was put poison into ear and died. He also told Hamelt to be brave and kill Claudius for him. But he could not kill and hurt his mother, because his father thought she would repent for her own sins. After he knew the truth, he changed and acted madly. He was rude to Ophelia, the girl he had loved.

The Adventures of Tom Sawyer

Recently I read a book which is called “The Adventures of Tom Sawyer”.It is one of the best known novels by the famous American writerMark Twain. It is a story of a clever boy called Tom Saywer.

Tom Sayweris a naughty boy, he does not like study in the school or get up in the morning. Which he likes are fishing, swimming and having adventures with friends. His adventures are interesting but dangerous.

I think it is Tom Saywerthat made the book become a classic work. Tom is a naughty boy, and he is a brave boy, too. He always encourages his friends when they are in trouble. And he always tries his best to help other people. He is a hero in some degree. Form this story, I realized that we are supposed to be kind and we should help our friends. Or we will be punished by God ,just like InjunJoe, who starves to death in the cave.

The Old Man and the Sea

The Old Man and the Sea is one of the best known novels by the famous American fiction writer Ernest Miller Hemingway, is also the author 's last published novel.

The book tells a story about an old fisherman Santiago who lives alone in sea fishing. Santiago was outstanding and strong when he was young. But now he is suffering from hunger and weeks of ill luck.In the first forty days a boy, who loves the old man very much, has been with him .But after many weeks of returning home to his small village, day after day with nothing in his boat, Santiago is forced to accept the other villager's small charities.

Santiago decides to sail far out to sea in search of a catch that will regain his self-confidence. Early the next morning says good-bye to his friend, the small boy, and the safety of the beach. Fortunately his luck turns and he hooks the giant marlin. For two days and two nights his adversary pulls him further out to sea. Finally the marlin was stabbed and tied to the bow. However , it is unfortunate that the marlin is eaten up by sharks after the battle between the old man and sharks. Finally the old man drag home with fishbone of the marlin. And he is appreciated by others. What a great story it is!The story gives me a deep impressionand I enjoy it very much.
