My Impressions after Reading”Gone with the Wind”

Recently,I have just finished reading a famous novel written by Margaret mitchell—“Gone with the Wind”,which is one of the most popular works among American novels.It took the auther about 10 years to finish this great novel,the only novel in her life. The story happened during the Civil War eve.Scarlett O'Hara,a 16-year-old girl,who was living in Tala manor in Georgia,was loving her neighbor Ashley Wilkes.However,after the war have broken out, Ashley Wilkes married his yonger cousin Melanie. Scarlett was so angry that she decided to marry a man she didn?t really love---- Charles Hamilton.Not long after that, Charles Hamilton joined the Army and died of illness in the war.So Scarlett had to act as a widow.Afterwards,at a donating dance party,Scarlett is acquainted with a captain named Rhett Butler. Then the flames of war approached Atlanta.Everyone was busy leaving away from the war.Scarlett managed to escape from Atlanta with the help of captain Rhett.Having come back to Tala manor,Scarlett made up her mind to rally her homeland at any cost when she saw that the former manor had been ruined.Later,her second husband died in the fight,she was a widow again.Durling that time, Rhett had been loving Scarlett sincerely and warmly.Seeing that Rhett could help her rally the manor,Scarlett married

Scarlett O’Hara

One of my friends had recommended the book Gone with the Wind almost two years’ ago, but my reading plan was just put off, for the book is really too thick and I even no courage to start. However, this semester I made my mind to read and I found myself was totally lost in the absorbing plots and the attractive characters the author portrayed. I was impressed by the war, the love and the hero Scarlett O’Hara, who would also be a charming and successful woman in today’s modern society, I think.

Scarlett is a dark-haired, green-eyed Georgia belle who struggles through the hardship of the Civil War and Reconstruction. She exhibits more of her father’s hard-headedness than her mother’s refined southern manners. Determination defines Scarlett and drives her to achieve everything she desires by any means necessary.

Having read the novel 《Gone With The Wind》 written by American writer Margaret Mitchell, I was deeply shocked. The novel, which Margaret spent about 10 years on, not only created a myth, but also show her own personal charm to the world. Novel's underground is based on the Civil War which happened in the United States, according to the changes of the Civil War starts the circumstances, so it has divided the macro history into micro history of personal experience. We can realize that misty thinking of Margaret through characters changes of people. My favorite character is Scarlett. Scarlett is a simple but very complex figure. Bleaching book review

"Gone with the Wind" and other novels this book is different, you can catch some breath and read the novel, but "Gone with the Wind" the book have to carefully read what relish, read a few pages, a look back, read a few pages, then memories.

Today, I drink tea, soft lighting units, and finally finished reading "Gone with the Wind", I closed the book of this, the book touched the skin, not willing to give.

"Gone with the Wind" is the Mitchell spent a decade to complete the work, than the "Dream of Red Mansions" to spend all the time and had children. Really gave a lot of time to complete this work, we can say, she completed a myth.

"Gone with the Wind," the characters in this book, of course, impressed me most is the character - Scarlett O'Hara - she's full of complex personalities, more than one face of the character. But the formal character of this complex, this really shows her true character. Her feisty, persistent self-confidence, the courage to move forward, but also some greedy and cold, and sometimes for their own selfish interests, or even justify the means.

Scarlett a very personality figures the two mans she love neither does she know about.To her I was compelled to admire admire her strong and brave admire her to lay down in the environment farm workers previously suffered education admire her to disregard the community to create their own expression of the cause .She is in the whole story all a person full of fighting will full of vitality . I appreciated most it is this " Tomorrow is another day of hers. " . Promising forever full of fighting will will never give up never desperate. I think I'm moved by her.So whenever I meet difficulty the mood is not good I will tell oneself : " Tomorrow is another day. " 'Gone with the Wind' is absolutely a good book that is worth sampling repeatedly the characters are graceful the plot rises and falls exciting boldly and unconstrainedly though the subjective factor because of the author among them the appraisal on U.S.A.'s Civil War is not objective and overall but as to angle of literature this one fine piece of writing generation definitely absolutely worth visiting.
