大家早上好！

今天我演讲的题目是《生活学习需要乐观心态》

首先，请同学们听一个故事

乐观者与悲观者在争论三个问题：

第一个问题：希望是什么？

悲观者说：是地平线，就算看得道，也永远走不到。

乐观者说：是启明星，能告诉人们曙光就在前头。

第二个问题：风是什么？

悲观者说：是浪的帮凶，能把你埋葬在大海深处。

乐观者说：是帆的伙伴，能把你送到胜利的彼岸。

第三个问题：生命是不是花？

悲观者说：是又怎样，开败了也就没了。

乐观者说：不，它能留下甘甜的果。

突然，天上传来一个声音，也问三个问题。 第一个：一直向前走，会怎样？

悲观者说：会碰到坑坑洼洼。

乐观者说：会看到柳暗花明。

第二个：春雨好不好？

悲观者说：不好！野草会因此长的更疯！

乐观者说：好！百花会因此开得更艳！

第三个：如果给你一片荒山，你会怎样？

悲观者说：修一座坟茔。

乐观者说：不！种满绿树。

就这么你一言我一语，针锋相对，只不过他俩都不知道，在空中提问的是上帝。

他们更不知道，就因为这场争论，上帝给了他们两样不同的礼物。

给了乐观者勇气，给了悲观者眼泪。那么你呢？你是哪一个？

高中三年的学习生活是紧张而丰富的，而高中生活的快乐与痛苦取决你自己的心态。

学习生活中，我们难免会遇到挫折、困难、甚至强烈的打击，此时拥有乐观的心态是至关重要的。

刘邦表面上不如项羽有出息，曾经26次被项羽打败，有时还被打得落荒而逃，连妻子孩子都顾不上。但是，他没有因此而失去信心，他承受了所有惨败造成的心理压力、焦虑、挫折感、内疚感，这恰恰证明了他拥有良好的心态。而项羽不然，一旦失败，则自尽而亡了，其实项羽并没输在武力上，而是输在心态上。

如何培养乐观的心态呢？

1积极乐观的心态需要长期不懈的学习，它就像一种熟练的技艺，手到自然心到，很快就会成为习惯。

2与你过去的失败经验彻底决裂，消除你脑海中那些与积极心态背道而驰的所有不良因素。

There is a poem written by Langston Hughes Hold fast to dreams,

For if dreams die,

Life is a broken-winged bird.

That can never fly.

Hold fast to dreams, For if dreams go,

Life is a barren field,

Frozen with snow. How beautiful it is. Yes, we shouldn’t give up our dreams. We shouldn’t give in to the large pressure on the way to realize our dreams.

There is a group of graduated students called “school-drifters”. According to China Daily, the number of the “school-drifters” had reached 100,000 as long ago as 2005; the number is of course increasing over the years. Living on school resources is a way of cutting living costs. Living close is convenient and familiar. But the real reason for this phenomenon is the intense conflict between the real world and their ideals. The notion “Anybody coming back home without achievements is a loser.” together with a too-high expectation from parents make them dare not go home and speak out their real situation. Enter grad school, find a better job, stay in big cities are their good wishes. Though the reality is cruel, they can realize them step by step.

I’m very glad to stand here and give you a short speech. Today my topic is “youth”. I hope you will like it, and found the importance in your youth so that more cherish it.

Youth

Youth is not a time of life, it is a state of mind; it is not rosy cheeks , red lips and supple knees, it is a matter of the emotions : it is the freshness ; it is the freshness of the deep springs of life .

Youth means a temperamental predominance of courage over timidity of the appetite, for adventure over the love of ease. This often exists in a man of 60 more than a boy of 20 . Nobody grows old merely by a number of years. We grow old by deserting our ideals.

Years wrinkle the skin, but to give up enthusiasm wrinkles the soul. Worry, fear, self –distrust bows the heart and turns the spirit back to dust.

I am Chinese. I am proud of being a Chinese with five thousand years of civilization behind. I've learned about the four great inventions made by our forefathers. I've learned about the Great Wall and the Yangtze River. I've learned about Zhang Hengand I've learned about Zheng He．Who says the Yellow River Civilization has vanished？I know that my ancestors have made miracleson this fertile land and we're still making miracles. Who can ignore the fact that we have established ourselves as a great state in the world, that we have devised our own nuclear weapons, that we have successfully sent our satellites into space, and that our GNP ranks No. 7 in the world? We have experienced the plunders by other nations, and we have experienced the war. Yet, based on such ruins, there still stands our nation----China, unyielding and unconquerable!

1 I consider as important as job satisfaction and money.There are several reasons: First, interest is the first power of the life, job satisfaction is the driving force and source ofour ongoing effort to work if we are not interested in the work, then we will lose confidence in life andmomentum.Second, money is the ultimate purpose of our work, if the work does not have the money as support, I believe that no one will go to work.Third, our enjoyment of life is to get the money, and then use the money to meet ourpsychological needs of life.We derive pleasure can not be said of our lives all butoccupies an important part in our lives.

我认为工作满意度和钱一样重要。有下面几个原因：第一，兴趣是生活的第一动力，我们对工作的满意度是我们不断努力工作的动力和源泉，如果我们对工作不感兴趣的话，那么我们就会对生活失去信心和动力。第二，钱是我们工作的最终目地，如果工作没有钱作为支撑的话，相信没有人会去工作的。第三，我们的生活乐趣是通过工作去获得的金钱，然后用金钱去满足我们的心理，生活需求。我们从中得到的乐趣不能说是我们生活的全部却在我们的生活中占着重要的部分。就这样，这是我全部的演讲，谢谢。

The Importance of Keeping Optimistic

Honourable judges, ladies and gentlemen,

Good afternoon! Today I would like to talk about the importance of keeping optimistic. When we encounter difficulties in life, we notice that some of us choose to bury their heads in the sand. Unfortunately, however, this attitude will do you no good, because if you will have no courage even to face them, how can you conquer them? Thus, be optimistic, ladies and gentlemen, as it can give you confidence and help you see yourself through the hard times, just as Winston Churchill once said, “An optimist sees an opportunity in every calamity; a pessimist sees a calamity in every opportunity.”

Ladies and Gentlemen, keeping optimistic, you will be able to realize, in spite of some hardship, there’s always hope waiting for you, which will lead you to the ultimate success. Historically as well as currently, there are too many optimists of this kind to enumerate. You see, Thomas Edison is optimistic; if not, the light of hope in his heart could not illuminate the whole world. Alfred Nobel is optimistic; if not, the explosives and the prestigious Nobel Prize would not have come into being. And Lance Armstrong is also optimistic; if not, the devil of cancer would have devoured his life and the world would not see a 5-time winner of the Tour De France.
