night.today my topic is about choice and process.a research shows that a man has to make 73 choices one day.with so many choices one day, people easily get so confused and afraid of making wrong choice that they hesitate and finally miss the true part of life. in my opinion, the following part is of much more importance than the choice. there is no absolute right or wrong choice but wonderful or boring life, which the process makes the difference.

forrest gump made no decision by and for himself but he accomplished great success with his strong will in the process. the process is not the road itself but the attitudes and feelings ,the caution, courage and persistance we have as we encounter new experience and unexpected obstacles. take myself as an example, i changed my major when i became a postgraduate. after the choice,days have been harsh for me.i cannot understand the new lessons at all. for they are closely related to mathmatics which i learned nothing about before. however wuth the belief that this is the great chance for me to experience new ideas and challenge myself,i persisted. i asked for help from every channel and reorgonized my life. gradually i could understand some parts and even found maths interesting.moreover, i learned to act instead of complaining. in retrospect,the choice left

《研究生英语演讲I》教学大纲

为指导我校研究生公共英语英语演讲课程的教学工作，特制订本大纲。

一、教学对象

本课程的教学对象是研究生英语教学改革试点班的非英语专业研究生。

二、教学目的和要求

本课程是为我校非英语专业研究生开设的一门必修课程， 该课程详细介绍英语演讲技巧系统，讲解和讨论有关英语演讲的基本知识，旨在培养学生公众演讲和口头交流能力。这门课程的知识性内容不多，不是理论传授型课程，是一门以实践为主的课程。主要通过演讲技巧和知识的讲解、讨论及分析，通过有指导的阅读和训练，使学生逐步了解英语演讲的类型与技巧，提高公众表达能力，从而为下一阶段的国际学术会议演讲打下坚实的基础。 本课程旨在向学生介绍基本演讲技能，通过演讲锻炼英语表达能力、提高沟通能力及领导才能。课程通过介绍英语演讲的基本知识，要求学生了解演讲语言、演讲稿谋篇的基本特点，不仅在语言上能达意，而且要充分调动各种非语言因素，如：眼神、动作等，以达到有效沟通的目的。本课程致力于帮助学生建立信心，最终获得得体流畅、言为心声的英语演讲及雄辩能力，以适应今后工作和社会交往中各种公众演讲场合的需要。本课程的主要内容包括：

（1）帮助学生建立信心，克服怯场和紧张情绪。

（2）认识公众演讲的三种类型，信息类(informative)，劝说类(persuasive)，特殊场合类(ceremonial)，根据场合的需要调动不同的演讲技巧。观摩经典演讲，指导学生掌握不同类型演讲的基本要领。

（3）学写演讲稿，标注演讲稿，列演讲提纲。组织专题讨论会，研读并背诵经典的演讲稿，分析演讲稿的内容创意，语言特点及修辞手段。

（4）在带视觉辅助材料的条件下进行公众演讲。

（5）学习演讲礼仪。作为演讲者，必须尊重听众，遵守时限；作为听众，应该学会倾听与沟通。

（6）正音练习。对有发音困难的学生，要设计针对性的练习方式，如绕口令，唱歌，辨音等。

《研究生英语演讲I》考核大纲

课程类别：非英语专业研究生公共必修课

总学时数： 30

一、考核要求及命题原则

本课程是为我校非英语专业研究生开设的公共必修课， 是一门详细介绍英语演讲技巧，系统讲解和示范英语演讲稿写作方法，培养学生公众演讲和交流能力的课程。主要通过演讲技巧和写作讲解分析，通过有指导的阅读和训练，使学生逐步了解英语演讲的类型与技巧，提高公众表达能力，尤其是提高学生在国际会议上用英语宣读论文的能力，考核以平时演讲作业和期终考试为主，辅以平时成绩。演讲presentation共3次，每次10分，每次给出分数。

二、考核内容

考核的范围：《演讲的艺术》卢卡斯著，外语教学与研究出版社；课外有关经贸翻译。 考核的主要内容：术语填空；简答；段落修改；文章点评四部分。

考核的重点：理论术语；演讲技巧；演讲材料的组织。

考核的难点：利用所学知识对演讲材料进行点评

三、考核方式

1、考核方式：闭卷

2、记分方式：百分制，满分为100分；三种类型的演讲各占10%，共30%，课堂表现占10%，出勤占10%；期末考试占40%，第二课堂活动占10%。

（1）三种类型的演讲的评分标准（见speech evaluation form）

（2）课堂表现：学习态度端正，课堂积极主动回答老师提问，与小组成员配合完成各种讨论。

（3）出勤：按时上课，不迟到，不早退；

（4）期末考试：。期末考试以演讲理论和技巧为主，试题范围不超过平时学习内容。

5、题目类型以及各类题目考核的目的

第一题为填空题，第二题为简答题，第三题为撰写演讲提纲，第四题为主观题---就

文章内容进行点评。填空题和简答题主要考察学生对英语演讲理论知识的了解，辨析改错和

Last week that brother has talked about basketball, but I still want to talk about it. After all, I love it. Today I will introduce KOBE BRYANT for you.

First I will give a brief introdunction on KOBE.

Kobe Bryant is one of the world’s best basketball player for the Los Angeles Lakers of NBA . And he got so much achievement , so I won’t introduce it to you one by one, you can feel it in the PPT.

（1）进一步激励同学们学习英语的热情，提高研究生英语口语水平，提供一个可以展现自我，激励他人的舞台，并且加强在校研究生的竞争意识；
