My ideal school

I hope my ideal school starts at 8:30 a.m. because l like to get up late. I hope my ideal school finishes at 4.30 p.m. So l can have lots of time to have a rest and do some after school activities.

My ideal school is very large, it has three tall buildings, a big dining hall, a tennis court, a big playground and a park.

We have an hour for lunch; we can eat delicious food and chat with each other in the big dining hall. We can also listen to pop music there.

We can have Math lesson everyday because I like Math very much. I also like English, so we can have English everyday. We needn’t wear school uniform. The classes are quite small, there are about 15 students in each class.

We have activities after school once a week. At the weekend, we needn’t do much homework. Every month, we go on a school trip to Shanghai or Suzhou.

I love English

Dear teachers and classmates:

I am glad to stand here to give a speech.My topic is I love English English is now used everywhere in the world. It has become the most common language on the Internet. Learning English makes me confident and brings me great pleasure.

There, I played games and sang English songs with other children . Then I found the beauty of the language, and began my colorful dream in the English world. Every day, I read English after the tapes. Sometimes, I watch English cartoons.

On the weekend, I often go to the English corner. By talking with others there, I have made more and more friends as well as improved my oral English.

I hope I can travel around the world someday. I want to go to America to visit White House. Of course, I want to go to London too . If I can ride my bike in Cambridge university, I will be very happy. I hope I can speak English with everyone in the world. I'll introduce China to them, such as the Great Wall, the Forbidden City and Shouxian. I know, Rome was not built in a day. I believe that after continuous hard study, one day I can speak English very well.

My First English Teacher

Dear friends! Do you still remember your first English teacher? You may say:” Yes.” Everyone has his teachers, in my mind, I’ll never forget her---my first English teacher Ms. Li. Without her, I wouldn’t be standing here. She is a young and lovely lady with beautiful eyes. Her voice sounds sweet and she speaks English very well. That was the first impression she left on us when she first gave us an English lesson.

In her class, she taught us carefully and patiently. she has a strange way of making her class lively and interesting. She always made opportunities for us to speak English. She gave us many beautiful pictures to talk on them, played games with us and told us many interesting stories. She made us learn from games. We learned English with great fun. After class she helped the students who had trouble in learning English.

When I was in the primary, school is very easy for me in the beginning. In my eyes all the things I have to do every day is ---show up for school, finish the homework, take tests, get grades. And I always got A?s. I thought school was that easy.

Suddenly middle school began, everything has changed, because the students in our school are most the top ones, if I don?t try my best to study, I am sure to fall behind the others, when I was the teachers? pet in the primary school, but now…... 七年级英语组经验交流发言稿

各位领导、老师们：

大家下午好！

今天，很荣幸代表我们初一年级英语组的老师们在这里和大家一起切磋、学习，来体验工作的辛酸，分享收获的快乐。这次的期末考试初一年级英语成绩喜人，总分值全县排名第二，比第一名只差1.17个百分点。我们之所以能取得现在的好成绩，是我们英语组的全体老师共同努力的结果。在这里，我向他们表示真诚的感谢！

说实在的，这一届的初一学生生源较差，优秀生偏少，差生偏多，而且大部分学生没有养成良好的学习习惯，我们都担心城内四校会考倒一。所以当时我们的目标只是希望离第三名不要有太大距离，只要领导不批评就万幸了。结果期中考试没有丢脸，成绩排名第三。可是经过分班后，学生情绪很不稳定，人心惶惶，无心学习。而一个月后就要参加期末考试了。我们的压力更大了，担心期末统考会一落千丈。看来要保住第三名都非常困难，结果期末考试竟然进到第二名，感到真是一种意外。

在这里，真的不敢谈什么经验，论个人素质、教学水平，我们远不及初二初三的优秀老师，所以感觉有点班门弄斧，在教学的方法和技巧上，更没有什么高招妙招，有的只是实实在在的干劲。由于学生底子差，我们就狠抓基础知识的巩固和落实。新目标英语教材的单词量大，很多时候我们不得不承认，初一学生的英语考试成绩是和学生的单词量成正比的。所以我们把单词的过关作为教学工作的重点。可是提起记单词，很多学生感到头疼，往往是记了前面忘后面，记了后面又忘了前面，或是和以前学过的单词搞混了，错误百出，让人啼笑皆非。我们只能采取最笨最简单的办法：死记硬背，一遍一遍反复记忆。自己记住了，给组长过，组长过完了，再给老师过，错的改了重新过，默写过了再听写，直到学生对每个单词牢固的掌握。记得班里一个学生在日记里写到：“我们白天记单词，晚上记单词，连睡觉做梦都梦见记单词。”不过，一份辛苦，一份收获。所以学生初学阶段的基础知识还是比较扎实。

为了提高合格率，老师们确实下了不少的功夫。我们的原则是决不放弃任何一个差生，基础方面尽量做到人人过关。但是班里总有一小部分脑子好使但是不肯记单词背课文的顽固派，我们只能采取没有办法的办法：用时间耗。如果上课没好好记，那就下课后留下来单独记，早上记不住下午记，下午记不住晚上记。学生最怕的就是老师的认真，只要坚持几天，他们就会妥协，因为他们耗不过你，也就开始用心了。还有一些脑子慢一点的学生，我就给他们多留一点时间来记忆。别人记住十个单词，要求他先记住五个，别人背两篇文章，要求他只背一篇，或者只背几个重要的句子。而且只要他们有一点点进步，我都会适时地给予表扬。慢慢的，这些学生就增强了自信，努力地克服学习上的困难。所以这次的期末统考中，合格率达到百分之九十九。

My future

As the song goes “ My future isn’t a dream .” I love the song which brings me confidence when singing it every time . I believe that all our dreams can come true if we have courage to pursue them .When I was young my father always asked me what I would be in the future . Sometimes I found it very hard to give a certain reply . “ I want to be a doctor .” “ I want to be a teacher .” and “ I ’d like to be a scientist !” Many of these answers are perhaps very childish and ridiculous . But I never think they are far away .

How time flies! Who is able to give a definition to his future ? I know clearly that those high buildings are based on solid foundation . As a student , I should have a reasonable aim , and study hard . My goal is to enter the best university for further study after middle school . I know it’s hard work , and I ’ll come across many difficulties and frustrations . But no matter what they are , I’ll keep working on it and never give up . My teacher says there ’s only one kind of people that are truly successful : those who are brave enough to put up with hardships . Even if I won’t achieve the goal , I have no regrets for what I have done , for I have struggled for my life .

七年级英语研讨会发言稿

尊敬的各位领导、老师：

大家好！

今天，我能在这里和大家共同交流工作体会，感到万分荣幸。

现在我代表南古中学七年级英语组,给大家做个简单地汇报，如有不当之处，敬请各位专家领导批评指正。

一、书写教学

英文书写的端正与规范，是开学阶段必须要抓好的。很多学生的字母和单词的书写不够规范;大小写字母不分,拼写错误多,以至于作业书写不够规范,检测中大量失分。这些现状都给以后的英语教学带来很大麻烦。所以我按照教材的要求进行规范板书,讲清楚大、小写字母在四线格中位置及笔画、笔顺。每个字母的位置一定要符合书写的位置,我们备课组利用一个半月的时间规范学生的书写，每天坚持布置一定量的书写练习的作业，并及时检查反馈，这样，学生就不会偷懒，坚持一个多月大部分学生都能养成良好的书写习惯。

听和说规范书写以后，便要求学生掌握听写的能力。我们有固定的一个听写本，每天一次听写。所有的单词和熟背的课文都要求听写和默写，并给于A+、A、B三个等级的打分。A+是完全正确，A是有一些错误需要改正，而B则是代表once again再写一遍。听写和默写带来的好处是，学生把书本上的内容转化为自己的知识，可以灵活运用，举一反三。

二、 听说教学

1. 从七年级开学之初我门就教了音标，一些学生能运用音标来读单词，不会读的跟磁带学，还有再不会的我会让课代表或学习小组长在早自习或是下午自习的时候教读。这样就能节约时间，使课堂有更多的时间进行情境交际了。重要的句子对话要求学生能背。

2. 我还坚持每天上课让学生听磁带，从字母到单词再到句型，最后到语篇，每天至少听15分钟边听边跟读，这样，大部分的单词基本上都会读了。还有很重要的一点就是值日生报告。内容包括天气情况，学生出勤上课情况或近期所学的重要句子。进行安排学生，按位置轮流当值日生，把星期几和当天的天气情况写在黑板的角落里并在上课时做值日生报告，这样能使每位学生都有机会发言，并且能迫使较差的学生去询问、去准备。有的成绩差的学生还把发言写在本子上，这种做法目的既锻炼了学生的胆量，又培养学生开口说英语的能力。同时也锻炼了学生的写作能力。到现在为止，学生已经能够表达很多的内容，口语能力也得到一定的提高。
