My dream , Chinese dream

Ladies and gentlemen , honorable judges , good afternoon . I am very glad to stand here and give you a short speech . Today my topic is “ my dream , Chinese dream “ I hope you will like it ! Martin Luther King once wrote in this speech “I have a dream”

I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up , live out the true meaning of it creeds :” we hold these truths to be self-evident that all men are created equal”

When these lines first caught my eyes , I was shocked – I admired him that he has such a great dream . All men are created equal . From every mountainside . Let freedom ring .

The important things in life is to have a great dream to be realized step by step with confidence . Now , everybody was discussing Chinese dream . The general Secretary Xi Jinping’s Chinese dream is realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation , which is the greatest dream of the Chinese nation since china’s reform and opening-up . As a contemporary college student , I have no dare not dream . I need not only dream bravely , but also dream hardly . It is my happiest dream that new generation of Chinese will not only grow up drinking Coca cola and watching Hollywood , but also benefit form multi-culture that brings far-reaching influence on china .

Chinese dream My dream

Everyday when I wake up in the morning, I always take a overlook to the east. The sun rises from the lake, the water glinted in the sunlight, which indulged me in pleasures without stop. Whenever this moment, I tell myself, the new day comes with hope. As the old saying goes, A man should be independent at the age of thirty. So I ask myself, on the journey to my thirty years old, what should I do to be independent? Or, what is my dream?

Firstly, let’s look back at our country. The country takes on a new face since the implementation of the policy of reform and opening up. The development of China really shocked the world. She’s getting stronger and more harmonious, the Chinese people is getting more rich and more confident. But that’s not enough, China didn’t remain satisfied with the achievements it has already made. In this great era, China put forward a new dream to the world. It’s Chinese dream!

Throughout history， there are Chinese people striving hard to achieve Chinese dreams—national prosperity and rejuvenation, social harmony and people’s wellbeing. It has also witnessed numerous individuals’ dedication and sacrifice in their lifespan. From the well-known program of Touching the Heart of China, we get to know so many people, whose experiences and characters move us so much that we would consider them the real heroes. Definitely, we have heroes by our side. And it is also because of those heroes that we are able to live under touching and delightful circumstances. To spread the genuine love is the dream of China.

If you travel from the outside to Ya’an along a wide and clean road, you will arrive at a beautiful place which only can appear in your dream, But now , I will tell you that you are not dreaming. This beautiful place named“TianQuan”─my hometown, it stands near the Qingyi river at the foot of Erlang mountain, It is a small city covered by green and it’s famous for the beautiful scenery, excellent climate and long history.

In the past, it was poor. People who once came here did not want to come again ，why？The streets were full of rubbishes and the buildings were old and small，when there were strong winds the buildings were shaking as if they wanted to say “Hello”to you.

But today，with the lead of our government, many changes have taken place，life is much better than before。

Good afternoon! Ladies and gentlemen, today my topic is “China Dream, My Dream”.

Dream, is a beacon of your life; dream, is your better vision; dream, is you ideal wings; and having dreams, you will have a future. Now, everybody was discussing the China dream. What is China dream?

In 1840, modern history of China has begun. The China dream was reflected in Westernization Movement to save the Qing government. In 1912, the Chinese Republic has been founded since the XinHai Revolution. The China dream has been transformed to pursue the democracy and republic from saving the Qing government.

In 1937, the War of Resistance against Japanese broke out. The China dream was changed again. There is an urgent need that the Japanese Imperialists should be banished from China immediately.

In 1949, the People's Republic of China was founded. The China dream is wishing the prosperity of our great motherland.
