Honorable Judges, fellow students:

Good afternoon!

Recently, ther is a heated debate in our society. The college students are the beneficiaries of a rare privilege, who receive exceptional education at extraordinary places. But will we be able to face the challenge and support ourselves against all odds? Will we be able to better the lives of others? Will we be able to accept the responsibility of building the future of our country?

The cynics say the college students are the pampered lost generation, which would cringe at the slightest discomfort. But the cynics are wrong. The college students I see are eagerly learning about how to live

independently. We help each other clean the dormitory, go shopping and bargain together, and take part time jobs to supplement our pocket money. The cynics say we care for nothing other than grades; and we neglect the need for character cultivation. But again, the cynics are wrong. We care deeply for each other, we cherish freedom, we treasure justice, and we seek truth. Last week, thousands of my fellow students had their blood type tested in order to make a contribution for the children who suffer from blood cancer.

Good morning，dear judges and friends,

I'm very glad and excited that I have a chance like this to share my own opinions with you.

To be honest, I can still remember the first time that in my university life. As same as this time, my heart would have jumped out of my chest if I couldn’t control my breath. Yes, I just have graduated from the university. As a teacher, I am a new. The feeling is the same, but today I am a teacher----a love teaching teacher. So, being a teacher of English, I have this speech of responsibility, which always fills me with strength and confidence. In my teaching way I will meet many people. So, today the topic of my speech is “to meet the best.”

To meet the best myself. As a teacher, I always ask me: why I choose this job? Of course, to be a teacher is my childhood dream. Ha-ha, it’s not true. In my deep heart, I want show my knowledge, and I am so enjoy the feeling when students call me “teacher”. Yes, this reason is so selfish. Let’s change the roles, if I am a student, I want have a teacher who can give me all of his wisdom. Is it right?

Most of the water is in the oceans or locked away as ice．The largest volumes of fresh water are stored underground as groundwater，imagine there is only one barrel of water in the world，then there is only a spoon of it on the land，and the water we can use is only a drop of it．Now I have to remind all of you here that the single drop of water is never as Clean as before，it has been polluted severely by our human beings．

What is future?Every time I look at the stars in the sky,I ask myself.It’s realy a hard question to answer it.The universe is boundless,we don’t know where are we from and where shall we go.I stand there,at sea.

Last Sunday,there was a rain of meteors.I went to the belcony towait for their coming.Above my shoulder,it was the wind.Above the wind,it was the sky,huge and blue,with sparkling stars.Suddenly,a shooting star appeared.I hurried to pray for her happiness,staring at it.I wanted to pray for more,but it had already died out.I realised ,future is not carved on the meteors,but it’s now,around us.

When a fortune-teller look at your palm,she’ll tell you how your future will be like.That’s a way you place your hope on.But it’s not realistic.The future is the things and people around you.What you should do is to try to do everything well,don’t care much about the results.Be kind to all the people around you,and love them.Although the world is not full of love,the life is not a bed of rose,you should sdick on your belief.When time passes,you’ll find everything you do is worthwhile.

No matter you and I in the life, having a dream is great, big to a country, small to a person. A country without dreams, that is a sorrow and sadness to his nation; A person without dream, he or she is considered to be the walking dead, because the dream is the innovation, the dream is the future.

英语演讲稿格式:

从大的方面看，英语演讲词实际上是属于一种特殊的说明文或议论文，其基本组成部分是：

1)开始时对听众的称呼语 最常用的是 Ladies and gentlemen，也可根据不同情况，选用 Fellow students, Distinguished guests, Mr Chairman, Honorable Judges(评委)等等。

2)提出论题 由于演讲的时间限制，必须开门见山，提出论题。提出论题的方法有各种各样，但最生动，最能引起注意的是用举例法。比如：你要呼吁大家关心贫穷地区的孩子，你可以用亲眼看到的或者收集到的那些贫穷孩子多么需要帮助的实例开始。另外，用具体的统计数据也是一个有效的引出论题的方法，比如：你要谈遵守交通规则的话题，你可以从举一系列有关车辆、车祸等的数据开始。

3)论证 对提出的论题，不可主观地妄下结论，而要进行客观的论证。这是演讲中最需要下功夫的部分。关键是要把道理讲清楚。常见的论证方法有举例法、因果法、对比法等等，可参见英语议论文的有关章节。

4)结论 结论要简明扼要，以给听众留下深刻印象。

5)结尾 结尾要简洁，不要拉拉扯扯，说个没完。特别是不要受汉语影响，说些类似“准备不足，请谅解”，“请批评指正”这样的废话。最普通的结尾就是：Thank you very much for your attention。

范例：

Ladies and Gentlemen , Good afternoon! I'm very glad to stand here and give you a short speech. today my topic is “youth”。 I hope you will like it , and found the importance in your youth so that more cherish it.
