FUTURE IS NOW

What is future?Every time I look at the stars in the sky,I ask myself.It’s realy a hard question to answer it.The universe is boundless,we don’t know where are we from and where shall we go.I stand there,at sea.

Last Sunday,there was a rain of meteors.I went to the belcony towait for their coming.Above my shoulder,it was the wind.Above the wind,it was the sky,huge and blue,with sparkling stars.Suddenly,a shooting star appeared.I hurried to pray for her happiness,staring at it.I wanted to pray for more,but it had already died out.I realised ,future is not carved on the meteors,but it’s now,around us.

When a fortune-teller look at your palm,she’ll tell you how your future will be like.That’s a way you place your hope on.But it’s not realistic.The future is the things and people around you.What you should do is to try to do everything well,don’t care much about the results.Be kind to all the people around you,and love them.Although the world is not full of love,the life is not a bed of rose,you should sdick on your belief.When time passes,you’ll find everything you do is worthwhile.

英语演讲稿格式:

从大的方面看，英语演讲词实际上是属于一种特殊的说明文或议论文，其基本组成部分是：

1)开始时对听众的称呼语 最常用的是 Ladies and gentlemen，也可根据不同情况，选用 Fellow students, Distinguished guests, Mr Chairman, Honorable Judges(评委)等等。

2)提出论题 由于演讲的时间限制，必须开门见山，提出论题。提出论题的方法有各种各样，但最生动，最能引起注意的是用举例法。比如：你要呼吁大家关心贫穷地区的孩子，你可以用亲眼看到的或者收集到的那些贫穷孩子多么需要帮助的实例开始。另外，用具体的统计数据也是一个有效的引出论题的方法，比如：你要谈遵守交通规则的话题，你可以从举一系列有关车辆、车祸等的数据开始。

3)论证 对提出的论题，不可主观地妄下结论，而要进行客观的论证。这是演讲中最需要下功夫的部分。关键是要把道理讲清楚。常见的论证方法有举例法、因果法、对比法等等，可参见英语议论文的有关章节。

4)结论 结论要简明扼要，以给听众留下深刻印象。

5)结尾 结尾要简洁，不要拉拉扯扯，说个没完。特别是不要受汉语影响，说些类似“准备不足，请谅解”，“请批评指正”这样的废话。最普通的结尾就是：Thank you very much for your attention。

范例：

Ladies and Gentlemen , Good afternoon! I'm very glad to stand here and give you a short speech. today my topic is “youth”。 I hope you will like it , and found the importance in your youth so that more cherish it.

Turn off your cell phone

关掉你的手机

Nowadays cell phones are becoming more popular. Almost everybody has got a cell phone. Of course the cell phones have brought us lots of convenience. We could get messages immediately from our acquaintances. Parents and friends could get in touch with us wherever we are. it’s also convenient for doing business. We could also use cell phone to read ebooks, see films and check our e-mail,and so on. the cell phones are just easy to use. But there’re also disadvantages. For example, the phones sometimes would ring out during the class which may completely annoyed the teacher. And it would be very embarrassed when the phone suddenly rings at the meetings. Students in class also like to send messages which would affect their studies.

We may need phones to get touch with our friends and relatives. But it is also very necessary to turn off our phones some particular occasions like having classes in the classroom or attending meetings to show your politeness. It’s also good for your health to turn off the cell phone when having sleep at night!

Is Failure a Bad Thing

Failure is a common thing in our daily life. As students, we

sometimes fail to get high scores in our exams. When we play

games, we might be beaten by others. And there are times when

we fail to do work well. All these failures happen naturally and

almost every one of us has such experiences. However,

there are different attitudes towards failure. Some people lose heart

when they fail; they think the world is at its end. Some people don't

take failure seriously but just let it be, while some others learn much

from failure, and therefore see the light of hope through failure. In my opinion, what is really important is not failure itself, but

what we think of failure and what we do after failure. As long as we

don't give up, keeping believing in ourselves, and at the same time

1童年 Childhood

I always dream about returning to the past. As many people say, childhood is the happiest and easiest time in one’s life.

我一直梦想着回到过去。许多人说，童年在我们的生命中是最快乐的，也是过的最快的。 Children show you their true emotions. They know what is compassion and what is tolerance better than adults. In their world, all real thoughts are presented. They may easily have different opinions with others, but they never understand what is animosity. They enjoy making friends but they never think about making social communication net. Every child talks from the bottom of his heart without evil plans hidden and never intrigues against each other. Only in children’s way can adults make our life simple, more real and more enjoyable.

孩子们向你展示自己真实的情感。他们知道什么是同情，什么是宽容。在他们的世界里，所有想法都是单纯真实的。他们可以很容易地与其他人有不同看法，但他们从来没有明白什么是仇恨。他们喜欢结交朋友，但他们从来不考虑用社交网络。每个孩子都发自内心地和其他人交流，没有邪恶计划和隐藏的阴谋。只有用童年时期的方式才能让成年人们的生活更简单，更真实、更愉快。

The value of education

各位老师同学大家好。我今天演讲的题目是The value of education 。我认为教育的价值体现在三方面的 让我们看第一张图片。

苏明娟出生在安徽小村子一个普通的农家。父母靠打鱼、种田为生，一家人过着辛劳拮据的生活。 这张照片题为“我要上学”，是中国希望工程的宣传标志。现在的她是一名银行白领日前苏明娟接受采访，30岁的苏明娟坦言.如今，她过着平淡但幸福的生活，并一直坚持捐款、回报社会。

我认为这就是教育的价值，尽管她未取得很大的成就但是她走出大山成为白领彻底改变命运。我认为教育体现在我身上的价值就是来带民大认识了不同民族的你们。

袁隆平 中国杂交水稻育种专家，被称为中国的“杂交水稻之父”，中国工程院院士。袁隆平的杂交水稻亩产已经到达1000公斤。正常水稻亩产500公斤 这是教育的另一层价值 使一个人拥有可以改变世界的能力。

教育的价值是多方面的，并不是所有人都可以改变世界，我认为它最重要的价值就是改变我们平凡人的人生。
