The water consumption in agriculture was the most (about 500 cubic kilometers) in 1900, which maintained increasing trend until 20## by almost3000cubic kilometers.

However, industrial and domestic use in water stayed stable until 1935, which is followed by a sharp rise during next 65year, reaching 1000 and 200 cubic kilometers respectively. The years ranging from 1900 to 1940 experienced a steady climb in the consumption of water, then it surged to 3000 during next 60 years.
